We were treated to a hilarious moment on RDS before the Montreal Canadiens’ game against the Boston Bruins last Thursday.

Patrik Laine’s partner, Jordan Leigh, showed off her sense of humor (as well as her man’s) by revealing the contents of the surprise bag they put together for auction.

Check out the footage.

“Patrik Laine’s partner, Jordan Leigh, put together a bag with Laine’s favorite things and if you donate, you could win a PlayStation controller!” – RDS

“We decided to make a bag with a player’s favorite items, and the guys told us what to include.” – Jordan Leigh

And that resulted in what we see in the video above.

We love it! She mentions that Patty’s reputation precedes him (yes, he loves video games), and I personally think it shows a great sense of humor.

A comeback season for Patrik Laine

The Canadiens forward and his partner really seem to be enjoying life in Montreal.

Quietly, Laine has put up 33 points in 46 games this season, including 20 goals, and several experts have highlighted a nice improvement in his defensive commitment over recent games.

It shows in his ice time, which had dropped to 10-11 minutes per game but has since climbed back above the 15-minute mark.

That’s important, because the Canadiens are a much better team when Laine is healthy and performing.

It’s all positive!
