If the heat on former Toronto Maple Leafs player player Mitch Marner wasn’t already high enough, the dial has been turned up once again.

Marner, now a member of the Vegas Golden Knights after a trade over the summer, said Leafs fans were responsible for his departure from Toronto while speaking with media less than a week ago. He claimed he had to hire security to guard his home for two weeks after the 2024-25 season ended.

Dangle explained that he assumed the message was from a disgruntled fan until he read the name at the bottom, which he recognized right away.
