Since a few days ago, the name of star defenseman Noah Dobson has been circulating heavily on the National Hockey League trade market.

With Dobson being an elite right-handed defenseman, reportedly available on the trade market, and set to become a restricted free agent (RFA) this summer, while also instantly becoming the Canadiens’ best defenseman, here is the trade proposal from analyst Normandin.

«What you need to understand is that Noah Dobson is one of the best right-handed defensemen in the entire NHL, and he’s only 25 years old. If he arrives in Montreal, he would be the Canadiens’ number-one defenseman by a mile.»

Personally, I wouldn’t be against this trade, but I also don’t think it would be an incredible home run.
