We have news about the Montreal Canadiens forwards Patrik Laine and Joel Armia. We are closely monitoring what’s happening with our players during the 4 Nations Showdown.

We also received an update on Samuel Montembeault earlier today when it comes to the starting role for team Canada.

And now, it was Patrik Laine’s turn.

Armia providing Laine some familiarity in Montreal

Patrik Laine’s wish is granted, and he is placed on Finland’s second line alongside his good friend, elite center Sebastian Aho

This is a great opportunity for Laine to bounce back.

That’s quite a solid group of forwards!

We also notice that Canadiens forward Armia is being used in the top-9.

As for the power play, once again, Laine will have a major role:

Lundell

Yes, they do indeed have five forwards on their first power play unit.

We are eager to see if the dynamic duo of Laine and Aho can pick up where they left off in 2016!

«This is somewhat of a reunion for Laine and Aho, as the two players formed an explosive duo during the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championship, which ended with a gold medal for Finland.»
