It’s game day in Montreal, just hours away from the highly anticipated showdown between Canada and the United States as part of the Four Nations Faceoff. It was already set to be an intense and emotional game, but things just escalated after recent comments from the Tkachuk brothers.

It all started with Brady:

Now, his brother Matthew has taken it a step further.

He also mentioned that he has been waiting nearly 10 years for this game with his brother and that if people thought the match against Finland was physical, they haven’t seen anything yet.

This is going to be intense.

Matthew Tkachuk didn’t appreciate the Bell Centre crowd booing his national anthem

To make things even more personal, Brady’s older brother added this:

“I didn’t like it.”

One thing is certain: we are in for an incredible hockey game tonight, an intense rivalry matchup that we won’t soon forget.

The atmosphere at the Bell Centre will be absolutely electric, and of course, we hope that Sidney Crosby and Team Canada come out on top. But no matter what happens, this will be a game you don’t want to miss.

On the Canadian side, we are still waiting for updates on the health status of defenseman Cale Makar (ill) and to find out who will be the starting goaltender tonight.
