The Montreal Canadiens’ locker room was filled with joy and emotion following their thrilling 6-3 victory at the Bell Centre last night. As the team celebrated a much-needed win, fans were treated to an inside look at the postgame festivities through the organization’s traditional victory video.
The footage captured not only the excitement of the players—Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky, Cole Caufield, and Christian Dvorak among them—but also a truly special moment led by captain Nick Suzuki. In a heartfelt gesture, Suzuki and his teammates honored head coach Martin St-Louis, marking his first career playoff win behind the Canadiens’ bench.
The camaraderie and unity on display were unmistakable, underscoring the team’s determination as they head deeper into the playoffs. With Josh Anderson being named player of the game and the atmosphere in the locker room electric, Montreal’s hopes are high as they prepare for a crucial Game 4. We have footage of what happened in the Montreal Canadiens’ locker room after last night’s big win at the Bell Centre.
It had been a while, but after the game, the organization posted its traditional short victory video, and it’s just as entertaining as ever.
We see the usual celebration from Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky, Cole Caufield, and Christian Dvorak, we see the guys returning to the locker room, and we also see the team (led by captain Suzuki) making a beautiful gesture for Martin St-Louis to mark his first career playoff win as a head coach.
See the footage.
Josh Anderson named player of the game by Nick Suzuki and his teammates
So well deserved!
In the video, we also see Anderson receiving the famous game goggles from Nick Suzuki, and it’s great to see the players recognize his outstanding effort.
Of course, the Montreal Canadiens left the Bell Centre last night with a 6-3 victory.
Cole Caufield, Alex Newhook, Juraj Slafkovsky, Nick Suzuki, Christian Dvorak, and Alexandre Carrier scored for the home team, while Jakub Dobes and Samuel Montembeault split duties to stop 18 of the 21 shots directed at the Canadiens’ net.
Also worth mentioning, Patrik Laine, who can be spotted in the video above, was unable to participate in the game due to an upper-body injury.
The action resumes tomorrow night, once again at the Bell Centre, for Game 4 of this best-of-seven series.
The Montreal Canadiens will then have the opportunity to even the series in this first-round matchup.
We can’t wait!
