shown where his true loyalties lie. Fresh off an appearance at the Stanley Cup Final in Florida, where he cheered on fellow Finn and close friend Aleksander Barkov, Laine found himself at the center of a lighthearted but telling exchange with a Florida Panthers fan.

When offered the chance to join the Panthers, Laine didn’t hesitate to deliver a witty and confident response that instantly went viral among NHL circles. His words not only reaffirmed his commitment to the Montreal Canadiens but also showcased his competitive spirit and sense of humor.

As rumors and speculation swirl around player movements during the offseason, Laine’s candid moment off the ice has given Canadiens fans another reason to rally behind their star forward. With his impressive stats and undeniable presence, Laine continues to be a key figure for Montreal, both on and off the ice, making headlines for all the right reasons as he looks ahead to another promising season.

For those who still doubted Patrik Laine’s attachment to the Montreal Canadiens organization – here’s a good one!

As you may already know, Patrik Laine was recently in Florida for the final game of the Stanley Cup Final, supporting his good friend Aleksander Barkov.

“Finns supporting Finns.

Patrik Laine was in attendance to watch his fellow countryman, Aleksander Barkov, captain his team to a second straight StanleyCup!”

We love it!

Patrik Laine was just offered the chance to play for the Florida Panthers – and he immediately gave his answer

He actually received a surprising offer.

Last night when we were leaving my friend told him he should come to Florida and his response was

“I think I’m good in Montreal, we beat you 4 times in the regular season”

Can’t even be mad at that response

Wow! That’s just perfect.

It happened off camera, so Laine could’ve easily given a polite or vague response – but he didn’t! He stood up for Montreal.

Patrik Laine, 27 years old, recorded 33 points in 52 games this season, including 20 goals.

He earns $8.7 million per year through the summer of 2026, and all signs point to him absolutely returning with the team next season.
