Channel Ten has axed another high-profile talent, according to sources, as fans are still reeling from the brutal sacking of Survivor Australia host Jonathan La Paglia.
Rodger Corser has reportedly been shown the door at Channel Ten, joining the list of talent being cut as the network continues to shed staff.
Channel Nine swooped the popular 52-year-old TV host from under Ten’s nose to host its top-rating game show, The Floor Australia, in 2025.
The switch came after Corser’s previous show, The Traitors, was not renewed for another season with Ten after just two series in 2022-23.
It’s understood Ten had still left the door open for Corser to return to host the reality game show should it ever make a return to screens.
However, a source who spoke to Woman’s Day on Monday said the network has now “quietly let go” of Corser as host of The Traitors.
The TV star is said to be wondering whether his move to Nine was ultimately the deciding factor for the bosses at Ten to show him the door.
A TV insider told Woman’s Day the network has been “cleaning house” of its highest-earning talent to slash budget and “freshen up” its shows.
“Essentially anyone with anything close to six zeroes (salary) has been let go,” a source said.

The development comes as Survivor Australia fans are still reeling over Ten’s axing of host Jonathan La Paglia in June.
The show’s producers told the TV veteran he was out of a job via a “clinical” and “cold” email, Daily Mail Australia reported.
Australian Survivor: All-Stars champion David Genat is tipped to replace La Paglia, but insiders have said he “doesn’t fit the brief” as host.
“He’s charismatic, sure – but Survivor needs someone with gravitas,” a source told Daily Mail Australia.
“David is not Jonathan, and viewers will notice that.”
Australian Survivor, which features a group of contestants called “castaways” living in an isolated outdoor location in Samoa where they must gather food, water, fire, and shelter while competing in challenges for awards and immunity, has recently struggled with a ratings slump.
The last season, Brains vs. Brawn II, saw viewership dip to 486,000 total overnight viewers, a far cry from the many millions it attracted in its prime.
It closely follows 10 News+, Ten’s new current affairs news program 10News+, having also failed to gain viewers during its first week on air.
10 News+ replaced The Project in June, launching with an average national broadcast audience of 291,000 viewers.
The show lost 47,000 viewers the following evening, bringing its national average to 244,000 viewers.

That figure dipped to 205,000 on the third night and continued to decline, with a further drop to 159,000 recorded on Thursday.
Ten’s hopes for a comeback on Friday were dashed when a mere 152,000 people tuned in, or a decrease of 139,000 viewers compared to Monday.
The fall in viewership is especially stark when compared to The Project’s final episode on June 27, which saw 478,000 people tune in.
A Ten spokesperson told SkyNews.com.au the network was “taking a long-term, multi-platform view of audience development.”
“Building a loyal news audience takes time, and we are prepared for gradual growth as audiences discover and connect with our unique approach to news delivery across many platforms,” the spokesperson said.
“10 is fully committed to 10 News+. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
“We are investing in building a sustainable, quality multi-platform news service that will grow and evolve with our audience’s needs over time.”
