When things go south on The Block 2025 you can always turn to your neighbours – if you trust them.
With waterproofing deadlines looming, House 4’s Sonny and Alicia attempted to strike a deal with rivals Robby and Mat. They quickly learned that two can play at that game.
It was nearly 5pm on a Waterproof Wednesday, House 4’s waterproofers were nowhere in sight.
“I’ve come home and I’m not happy,” Alicia announced.
“Our waterproofers are stuck in induction because they don’t have the correct certificate,” she fumed.
They’ve been ‘stuck’ in induction for over three hours.
So she called up Robby and Mat, the boys from House 5, with a cheeky plan knowing their waterproofer was waiting around…
“She tried to steal my waterproofer,” Mat told cameras. “You’ve got to look out for this Gold Coast couple.”
Instead, Mat came in with an even sneakier negotiation.
It was a big no from Alicia.
But then came House 3’s Taz who was listening in on the conversation. He had no qualms offering his waterproofer to the couple.
Even if it meant their waterproofer working on two jobs at the same time.
“Alicia and Sonny, they are the best people… they’ve helped us a lot more than we’ve helped them,” said Taz.
Could this be an alliance forming?
The Block airs Sundays at 7pm and continues Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 7:00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
