Young announcer Abbey Fidge has caught the attention of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O after she revealed a “weird” encounter with an unnamed Australian radio star.

The drama unfolded when the 19-year-old, who works for a regional radio network, posted a TikTok explaining that she reached out to said mystery man in hopes of being able to tour the station where he works.

In the video, Ms Fidge said the man agreed to try and show her around the station when she was going to be travelling to the city in a months’ time.

When Ms Fidge touched base to confirm the pair’s plan, things took a turn.

“He goes ‘oh I just left the studio’. . . but then it gets weird because then he says ‘what are you doing tonight? Do you want to go to a wine bar.’”

Creeped out by the proposal, Ms Fidge denied the offer.

Now, famous radio duo Kyle and Jackie O have blown up Ms Fidge’s phone in a bid to find out who the mystery star is.

“A 19-year-old called Abbey Fidge, she has jumped on TikTok and said she had a creepy encounter with a famous radio star from a capital city,” Sandilands said live on air.

“She hasn’t said who it is so what I want to do is guess the radio star after we play Abbey’s horrible connection with whoever this radio star is.”

Despite multiple attempts to reach Ms Fidge for comment, Kylie and Jackie O were unsuccessful getting her on air.

Ms Fidge made it known in a followup TikTok she will remain tight lipped on the radio figure’s identity to avoid “burning bridges”.
