We have an interesting new development concerning the famous second center position of the Montreal Canadiens.

In the last few hours, the well-known insider Chris Johnston (TSN) named the Habs among the potential destinations for center Jack Roslovic.

Johnston mentioned that Kent Hughes recently had interest in Roslovic, that he even contacted Roslovic, and that the latter could eventually come to Montreal as reinforcement.

“The Canadiens are looking for a center, and there was interest on their part [for Roslovic] during the summer.” – Chris Johnston

That is interesting!

It’s confirmed: Kent Hughes is interested in center Jack Roslovic

The Montreal Canadiens truly seem to be among the 3-4 finalist teams to sign the talented center.

Of course, we must remember that Roslovic is currently an unrestricted free agent.

He is therefore completely free, and all it would take is signing him to bring him to Montreal.

Chris Johnston: Re Jack Roslovic:

“Montreal’s a team that’s talked about looking for a center; Vancouver; these teams have been around Roslovic at various points; I don’t see the Leafs as being as much a fit right now; they have too many forwards” – Chris Johnston Show

Jack Roslovic, 28 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 198-pound center who was a first-round pick of the Winnipeg Jets in 2015.

In recent seasons, he has produced at rates (per 82 games) of 58 points, 46 points, 47 points, 43 points, and 40 points.

Do you think he is better than Kirby Dach?

One thing is certain, this is a situation to follow in Montreal.
