Tuesday night brought with it several bombshell Farmer Wants A Wife moments with Annie, one of the newest ladies on Farmer Corey’s farm, claiming she believes he secretly spent the night with Keeley, one of the original ladies. Annie hasn’t had much screen time on the show, so it surprised viewers when she made the shock claim about Keeley and Farmer Corey’s alleged nighttime antics.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Annie reveals that viewers didn’t see a lot of how Farmer Corey dealt with the moment, with the reality star going so far as to say she felt “gaslit” by him after she shared that she believed Keeley and Corey were together one night when she couldn’t find them. Speaking about that night, and leaving the show, Annie tells us, “I don’t ever want to feel that way [again], and I don’t want anyone to diminish my feelings.”

During the episode, Annie told the cameras, “I personally think Keeley is covering something up,” before sharing her concerns with Jadee, one of the other original girls.

She explained that she woke up in the middle of the night, and Keeley, who she shared a room with, wasn’t in bed. After looking in the other girls’ room, on the couch and outside, Annie started to get the feeling that Keeley was with Corey.

Annie added that she noticed Keeley had been gone for “a couple of hours” and Jadee told the cameras that “reading between the lines, Annie is assuming that Keeley was in Corey’s bed”.

“She is such a sweet, sweet girl, and I’ve seen a very different side to her. So, yeah, pretty surprised that she’d do it,” Annie added to the cameras.

At dinner, when Annie asked Keeley about it, she said that she felt there was “only one place” she could be, and that was with Corey.

Keeley said it was a very “unfair insinuation” and said it was “disheartening” to have her character questioned in that way. She added that she wanted the girls to know that it wasn’t an “accurate assumption” and that she was telling the “honest truth”.

Viewers saw Corey dismiss the accusation, telling Annie, “She was not in my room, I didn’t see Keeley at all last night.”

He also told the cameras, “Oh, I totally understand the way Annie feels the way she has. It’s pretty easy to overthink, particularly in this experience.”

Annie then decided to leave the show because she said she deserves someone who would love her for her, and she could see Corey had made connections with the other girls.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, however, Annie said there was more than meets the eye and viewers missed a bit of the story.

“It was such a long time ago, but I really was in a space where I was super open to getting to know Corey more, but didn’t have that time to,” she tells us. “I almost felt that you could tell that Corey struggled with toying with our emotions. So behind doors, he was a little bit closed off, but I think I just knew it wasn’t right for me, and he wasn’t the one for me.

“I respect him, and he’s such a great guy and very emotionally intelligent for his age, but yeah, there was just parts where we would see behind closed doors. I just knew he wasn’t my person.”

“I really put myself out there and gave him the open door to really get to know me, but that wasn’t reciprocated, and I felt like I just needed to let it go and stop trying.”

When asked if she still felt as though Keeley was with Corey that night, Annie says, “I don’t know where she was, I’ll be honest, I’m not going to change my mind, because I know what I saw. However, I could be wrong, they could have also been in a different spot, but I don’t think that was the case.”

She adds that while she does still believe they were together, she’s “not going to be presumptuous about what they were doing”.

In response to Corey telling her that he and Keeley weren’t together, Annie says, “As soon as he said that, I felt like I was being gaslit a little bit…I felt like Corey went in a bit hard, which I’d never seen that side to him.”

“I don’t ever want to feel that way, and I don’t want anyone to diminish my feelings, and, yeah, I just made the decision to take him out for a chat. I was super upset because I felt like I just shouldn’t have said anything,” she explains. “I just wanted him to understand how I was feeling and it all just came back into my face and it just made me look like I was the issue, or I was making something up just for the drama, but that’s just not in my nature. If anything, I completely avoid drama. So, for me, it was just a very uncomfortable situation.”
