The organization’s defensive depth has rarely been so strong, and this abundance of young talent could force a difficult decision. According to multiple sources, an established defenseman could lose his spot at the start of the season.

Among the names being mentioned, Jayden Struble and Arber Xhekaj come up frequently. Both defensemen showed promise last season, but their spots are not necessarily guaranteed.

Struble, valued for his mobility and defensive engagement, will need to prove he can maintain a consistent level amid heightened competition.
