What a happy family!

Just weeks after they finally confirmed they have indeed found love together, Married at First Sight stars Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher have been spotted playing happy families with her son!

New Idea spied the couple enjoying a fun day out with Awhina’s six-year-old son Landon, in their hometown of Perth, WA, in June.

Billy, 31, looked every inch the doting ‘stepdad’ as he, Awhina and Landon grabbed food at local café and played at a park.

Awhina famously opted to not introduce Landon to her MAFS husband, Adrian Araouzou, during filming – especially after Adrian made comments about not wanting to be in a long-term relationship with a mother.

However, she clearly had no such qualms about her boy meeting Billy, who was initially matched with Sierah Swepstone.

In a recent interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Awhina, 30, confirmed it’s a big deal for a romantic partner of hers to meet Landon.

She said that “I’ve never introduced anyone I’ve been intimate with to my son before”, and added that with Adrian there was “no way our connection was strong enough” for him to meet Landon.

Awhina’s twin sister, Cleo, exclusively told New Idea that it’s a “totally different story” with Billy, who they’ve welcomed into their family.

“He’s a great guy and our families get on really well,” Cleo said. “Landon enjoys hanging out with him as he’s a real boys’ boy. As long as you’re a good person and kind to my nephew, that’s
all I care about.”

The couple officially hard-launched their romance on June 5.

The pair shared a joint post to Instagram, where they shared a carousel of photos together with the caption, “I’ll keep this one.”

In the photos, they were pictured enjoying a romantic dinner date, as well as cuddling close together for a mirror selfie.
