The new reality show that’s like Married at First Sight meets Survivor.

Attention reality show lovers: an Australian version of Stranded on Honeymoon Island is officially on the way.

So far, the popular show has been made in Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and the UK.

But now it’s our turn… Read on to learn all about the upcoming Aussie iteration of Stranded on Honeymoon Island.

What is Stranded on Honeymoon Island?

Admittedly, the premise of this reality show sounds wild.

The season will begin with 12 singles attending a speed dating event.

After the event, the 12 will be paired into six couples

Then the six couples will have to get married. Yes, married.

And instead of a traditional honeymoon, the newlyweds will be left on a remote tropical island with minimal resources.

The challenge for the six couples will be to navigate their new relationship and island life.

It’s literally Married at First Sight and Survivor mixed together.

When is it coming out and where can I watch it?

Stranded on Honeymoon Island will premiere on Channel 7 and 7plus in June 2025; likely after Farmer Wants a Wife wraps up.

Watch this space for an exact premiere date though.

Who’s in the Stranded on Honeymoon Island cast?

The reality show will be narrated by radio star Jackie O Henderson.

As for the 12 singles, Channel 7 have only announced four of them so far:

Amy and Mike

Amy says she signed up for Stranded on Honeymoon Island in the hopes of finding her “happy ever after.”

Whereas Mike is looking for a relationship where he’s “respected, loved and adored.”

Georgia and Chad

Georgia was dumped just three days before she was supposed to get married and so, she’s decided to give Stranded on Honeymoon Island a try.

“This is the craziest thing I’ve ever done. I’m so ready for it,” she says.

Chad, on the other hand, is simply looking for his soulmate.
