Cale Fleury and John Hayden placed on waivers

So, two options are now available for NHL teams as the season nears its end.

John Hayden, 30 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 223-pound center who was a third-round pick by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013.

He has 39 points in 268 career NHL games and played 19 games with the Kraken this season.

In the AHL, Hayden recorded 27 points in 43 games during his most recent stint.

Cale Fleury, 26 years old, is a right-handed defenseman measuring 6-foot-1 and 204 pounds. He was a third-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2017.

He is, of course, a name familiar to Canadiens fans.

Fleury has played 77 career games in the NHL, including 41 with the Montreal Canadiens (with whom he scored his only NHL goal).

In the AHL, Fleury tallied 24 points in 36 games during his most recent stint.
