Tonight Sonny and Alicia’s relationship with former besties Britt and Taz continues to deteriorate.
As the WA cops return from their night away from the Block they’re immediately hauled into a body corporate meeting that they were unaware had been called.
Sonny and Alicia had once again successfully rallied the troops against Britt and Taz – with little arm twisting required – this time over the fact they worked ahead on their deck sub-floor, reasoning it was part of landscaping week (which contestants are permitted to work ahead on) when in fact it fell into alfresco and shed week.
Having been penalised by being told they couldn’t work on the deck on Monday, Sonny and Alicia were outraged to discover that left the pair at no disadvantage because no contestants could work on their decks on Monday anyway, due to a steel cover being installed.
All other contestants, with the exception of Emma, agree they need to be penalised further to level the playing field.
They propose that Britt and Taz not work on their deck until all other teams had finished their deck sub-floor.
Britt and Taz agree to avoid any further unpleasantness, but Britt isn’t prepared to wear Alicia’s repeated claims that her own behaviour has been exemplary.

Alicia definitely not being snide at the body corporate meeting.
“It’s not personal. We haven’t said anything negative or derogatory towards you,” Alicia claims.
“It doesn’t feel like that when you’re saying really snide comments about our house,” Britt replies.
Alicia, remarkably, then claims she’s never uttered a snide comment.
Cue footage of Alicia snidely telling Han and Can in front of all the other contestants that the only reason they didn’t win last week was because their painting was too good – a clear passive aggressive dig at Britt and Taz’s poor paint job.
“You should have just done a s**t one coat,” she said.
Is it possible Alicia doesn’t know what the word snide means?

Britt and Taz at the body corporate meeting.
Then cue footage of Sonny shouting to Han and Can that they’d been robbed and that they deserved 10s. “And it’s finished,” he added as he walks past Britt and Taz.
It’s undeniably true Britt and Taz’s paint work was crappy, and probably undeserving of the 10 they got from Shaynna, but it seems Sonny and Alicia think they should somehow pay for Shaynna’s poor eyesight by handing back their prize money.
After the meeting Alicia asks Britt for a private word to try and smooth things over but continues to behave as if she is the victim of slander.
“I will not allow you to throw me under the bus. I did nothing towards you, I’m not going to cop it. I’m not going to let you make me out to be a bad person,” she tells Britt when Britt says she doesn’t mind other people having opinions, but delivery matters.
“We came into this and you two were just our absolute best mates,” Taz appeals “But the way you’re carrying on …”
At this point Sonny at least falls on his sword, admitting that his comments were out of line.
“I stand by what I said because I would have given the girls three tens, but I was being a dick. Simple,” he says.

Britt having what she will later describe as the worst day of her life.
Britt tries to see things from Sonny and Alicia’s perspective.
“We’re trying to have a bit of empathy for why they are the way they are. They’re highly stressed because they haven’t won a room. Not everyone is built to deal with this sort of pressure,” she says.
The four hug it out but it’s pretty clear the friendship is over with Alicia later saying “you can just look and it’s resting b***h face. She’s pretty good at it”.
Then later in the episode one of the tiling Cursio brothers comes to tell Britt that he’s been refused permission to create a rock wall in their alfresco area by Alicia, despite the fact Britt and Taz locked him in for the job before the brothers signed up as Sonny and Alicia’s tilers.
The whole thing leaves Britt flat and upset.
When Taz remarks that it was their worst day on The Block, Britt goes further.
“It was probably the worst day of my life, to be honest. It was horrible. Today really made me realise, are we going to be friends with these people when we leave? Our friends at home wouldn’t do this to us, there’s no way.”
Emma’s the only one with any perspective on the whole thing.

Emma tells Britt that she didn’t support the body corporate pile-on.
“I think it’s all a bit silly and I don’t agree at all. I think it would have been completely different if Britt and Taz didn’t win. I think they’re just salty that they won,” she says of Sonny and Alicia.
She later heads over to tell Britt how she feels.
“I just wanted to say I think it was really unfair what everyone did to you guys today and I didn’t agree with any of it,” she says to a grateful Britt.
