EXCLUSIVE: Halfway into The Block and Dan and Dani thought the teams had learned their lesson by now – they were wrong.
Looking around their rumpus rooms, Dan and Dani savaged one space as a “nothing room” and demanded one feature be “taken down”.
Britt and Taz’s pilates room “missed the mark” for Dan and Dani but it wasn’t the reformer pilates machines that posed the biggest issue for the couple.
Dani looked up at the ceiling and that’s when she exclaimed: “That is gross!”
She was talking about the tacky strip light that added absolutely nothing to the space.
And the sheer volume of beverages in the fridge had Dani “absolutely perplexed”.
Dan and Dani both feared Britt and Taz’s decision to convert the rumpus room into a pilates room was their worst mistake yet and would bite them come Auction Day.
In Han and Can’s winning rumpus-turned-cinema room, Dani found herself saying something she never does: “The TV isn’t big enough”.
And yet again the flaws came creeping out when Dan and Dani looked up.
Staring at the ceiling Dan declared “take it down”.
What exactly was he talking about? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.
Dani was “unsure” about Emma and Ben’s flat-pack book case. She expected better for this standard of a home.
As for the timber panelling feature wall? Dan and Dani thought it was just plain “weird”. Ouch!
The couple had nothing but compliments for Sonny and Alicia’s rumpus room except for just one glaring issue.
As for what Dan and Dani had to say about Robby and Mat’s unfinished rumpus room, you’ll have to hear that for yourself in the video at the top of the article.
You’ll also see who they’ve voted for their ‘Champs’ and ‘Chumps’ for Week 6.
Dan vs Dani will continue next week – we can’t wait!
