In a cheeky tea spill to online publication, Chattr, a 2025 cast member has revealed that Georgie Lavery — who won the heart of Farmer Tom earlier in the season — originally signed up for the show for another country hunk of spunk.

In fact, the insider claimed that “the whole farm” weren’t originally there for Tom… YIKES.

“It’s so true. The whole farm didn’t pick Tom apart from one person and Georgie picked someone else originally,” the insider spilled.

Another 2025 cast member — who remained anonymous — claimed she got her “second pick” and that a bunch of the lovely ladies in this year’s season were actually there for Farmer Reidy, who was axed by the Network last minute.

“The casting team try to match people as well as they can. I know of a few people that were matched with Reidy but he was last-minute removed from the cast,” the insider revealed to the publication.

“My whole casting interviews were all about Reidy and his compatibility with me, and then I got put with my second pick without any reason! Obviously, I was happy to, as I still felt we were compatible on paper.”

While we don’t know who Georgie originally picked, I’m still glad she was able to find love with Farmer Tom because the pair look so cute together! And since their time on the show, insiders have claimed that the pair are going strong.

Why was Farmer Reidy axed from Farmer Wants A Wife 2025?

According to an inside source, Farmer Reidy was allegedly axed from the show for his root rat behaviour.

“He was caught hooking up with other women during filming,” the insider claimed, per So Dramatic!

“He was also arguing with the crew non-stop and treating the girls on his farm like utter shit, so it’s no surprise that he didn’t end up appearing on the show.”
