The recent acquisition by the Montreal Canadiens, Zachary Bolduc, acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Blues in July, has sent quite a message.

That says a lot about his attitude!

Even though he is not really known as a penalty kill player, Bolduc has just outright proposed to Martin St-Louis that he could be used in that role if needed. Wow.

Zachary Bolduc Is Ready to Do Anything to Help the Montreal Canadiens

In a recent article in La Presse, here’s what he said:

“Zack Bolduc says he’s ready to play on the Canadiens’ penalty kill and that he simply wants to help the team win.”

Bolduc has mentioned it many times – he simply wants to help the Montreal Canadiens win, no matter his role or what he’s asked to do!

“I want to help the Canadiens be a better team, whether it’s five-on-five, on the power play, or on the penalty kill. I’ve never really had the chance to play on the penalty kill, but I’m smart and I see the game well. It’s something I could add to my toolbox. I’m going to come in with that mindset.”

Now that’s a winning attitude!

Personally, I truly think Bolduc will become a solid top-six forward in the National Hockey League, and knowing he genuinely wants to become a complete player, I believe I would give him a chance at center for one or two preseason games.

Imagine if the result is impressive and he becomes the second-line center we’ve been looking for!

Zachary Bolduc, 22 years old, is a 6-foot, 187-pound forward who recorded 36 points in 72 games last season, including 19 goals – but most notably, he collected 14 points in his last 19 games, with nine goals.

He’s on the verge of breaking out for good.
