We just witnessed an interesting scene live from the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens.

I’m not sure what it means, but young defenseman David Reinbacher just jumped onto the Bell Centre ice, wearing the Habs uniform, on this game day against the Detroit Red Wings.

We definitely didn’t see that one coming.

I really wonder what this means.

Normally, Reinbacher should be in Laval right now..

This is a situation we’ll be keeping a close eye on, but now we’re wondering if Reinbacher, who has been impressive with the Laval Rocket, could possibly finish the season in the NHL.

A unique season for David Reinbacher

Let’s remember that there’s been a little “saga” over the past few days regarding Reinbacher’s health status.

He missed a few games, which the organization announced as being “part of the plan for his return-to-play process,” but his extended absence raised major questions.

The Rocket eventually announced that Reinbacher was “day-to-day,” but that his absence wasn’t concerning at this point.

I’m really curious to see what happens next.

David Reinbacher, age 20, is a 6-foot-3, 207-pound right-handed defenseman who was the Canadiens’ fifth overall pick in 2023.

He has recorded 4 points in 8 games with the Rocket this season, with a positive plus-minus of +6.

The kid has really shown some great things.
