Hey internet friends, welcome back.
Today’s post is incredibly important — we’re talking about Jack and Lily Sullivan, the two missing children whose case continues to shake our community. But before we get into the timeline updates, I want to share some hopeful news.

Fundraiser Event for Lily and Jack
There will be a fundraiser on August 9th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM to support the ongoing search for Lily and Jack. The flyer is available in my community section, and you can scan the code on the bottom right corner for full details. Please consider sharing it or printing it out to help spread awareness.
Breaking Down the Timeline: New Details from Janie
Last night, Janie — a friend of the family — came forward to fill in some key gaps in the timeline. Her willingness to speak helps paint a clearer picture of what might have happened in the crucial hours leading up to the children’s disappearance. Here’s what she shared:
Thursday (Day Before the Disappearance)
Morning: The children didn’t go to school that day.
Around Noon: Jack and Lily were seen in town, reportedly near Highland Square Mall. This has been confirmed by RCMP and one of Daniel’s coworkers — there’s even surveillance video showing them with family.
Afternoon: The kids were back home playing. Janie remembered Jack searching for worms and centipedes in the yard. He even showed her a centipede he had caught — something he loved doing.
Janie was raking the yard to level it out, hoping to install a pool for summer.
Daniel was looking for tools to help her put up a fence. He eventually helped her set up some 2x4s for it.
Friday (Day of Disappearance)
6:00 AM: Janie was on Facebook.
6:24 AM: She received a text from her brother.
7:00 AM: She went outside to tend to the chickens.
7:15 AM: Janie was using the Temu app, playing its in-app games to earn points — similar to Amazon, but with small shopping games.
8:48 AM: Her brother called and they spoke for almost 3 minutes.
8:52 AM-ish: Janie said she went to bed to get some rest. She recalls briefly going back on Facebook and then dozing off again.
Not long after, she remembers:
The dog barking.
Hearing the children outside.
Then, suddenly, Daniel yelling — she thought maybe he was just calling Jack and Lily to come inside or possibly that Jack had let the chickens out (as he usually did).
9:40 AM:
This is believed to be the time when the 911 call was made. According to Belinda, the children were reported missing. It’s been confirmed that Malaya made the call.
Following that, the RCMP and investigators arrived quickly and began searching the property.
Search of the RV & Emotional Toll
Janie shared that investigators searched her RV three times, even lifting it off the ground at one point. She described how overwhelming it’s been — not just for her, but even for her dog, who has been unusually stressed by all the activity.
But Janie made it clear: her worry is for Jack and Lily, not herself.
She also opened up with a few touching memories:
Jack was obsessed with bugs — always searching for insects in the yard.
Lily, on the other hand, was terrified of bugs. Even flies would send her running. (I could totally relate — my son used to scream at the sight of fruit flies when he was little.)
Concerns About Custody & Focus
Janie also mentioned she hasn’t been able to see Meadow due to the ongoing criminal investigation. She noted that Malaya is fighting hard for Meadow’s custody, but, in her eyes, not doing much for Jack and Lily.
That part really stuck with me.
Final Thoughts
I want to thank Janie for speaking out. She didn’t have to, and she’s clearly been through so much. Her willingness to talk helps the rest of us understand what might have really happened that day — and it brings humanity back to a story that has become so clouded by theories, speculation, and legal red tape.
This is my third time trying to record this update — my headphones died earlier — but I hope this version is loud and clear for everyone.
As promised:
I’ve attached the timeline to my Community Notes Center. You can click on it, zoom in, screenshot, or print it out for reference.
The fundraiser flyer is also available in the same place — please feel free to share it around your town to help keep Jack and Lily’s faces out there.
Thank you all so much for your support, your comments, your kindness. Even a simple “Hi, how are you?” means a lot. Keep talking, keep sharing, and above all — keep hoping.
