Almost two years after it was first announced, Australia’s brand-new reality TV phenomenon, Stranded On Honeymoon Island, has finally premiered. The Channel 7 series, which is narrated by radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, has been described as a mix between Married At First Sight and Australian Survivor as contestants get paired off and dropped on a remote island in the South Pacific with nothing but their wedding attire.
The newlyweds then have to tackle their issues of communication, compatibility and commitment as they coexist with one another and battle the elements on the island. Every few days, they will receive a mysterious crate containing news from home, games, or invitations to meet the other couples and discuss their relationships.
Each couple will also have the choice throughout the experience to stay or to ‘flare’, which signifies that they wish to end their time on the island and return home.
The series will end with the brides and grooms reuniting to make final promises to one another and choose whether they will continue their relationship or say goodbye. The entire cast will then come together for a spicy reunion filled with bombshell revelations about the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
With the season now underway and all six couples matched up, here’s everything you need to know about the Stranded On Honeymoon Island 2025 participants.

Amy is a 30-year-old TikTok influencer and stand-up comedian from Queensland who has gained over 150,000 followers online by sharing funny dating anecdotes. She describes herself as compassionate, outgoing, determined, and adventurous, and has been single for five months after ending a relationship built on lies.
“I want someone with whom I can share my amazing life, go on crazy adventures with, laugh with, and someone who will have my back and love me unconditionally,” she says.
Mike is a 38-year-old TV presenter and stand-up comedian from New South Wales who hosts a motorsport-based adventure travel show and sells hair removal cream online. He describes himself as outgoing, charismatic, and extremely hard-working, and has traditional views on male and female roles within a relationship.
“This experience is completely different for me. There are so many things I feel like I can learn from it,” he says. “I love that I’m not going to have my phone. Everything I’ve known from dating is gone, and I get to start fresh, blank.”

Brie is a 29-year-old trained singer and dancer from Victoria who feels like time is running out to find ‘the one’. She describes herself as “crazy but nice and empathetic”, and has been single for two and a half years because she chooses the wrong guys.
She applied for the reality show because “it was a new experience and adventure that seemed fun”, and she is keen to find a serious relationship.
Byron is a 34-year-old electrician who lives on the Gold Coast and loves travelling, immersing himself in high-octane sports, and spending time with his family. He describes himself as an easy-going bloke who loves to get out and discover the world, and has been single for two years.
“A tropical island adventure with no technology… what better way to get to know someone?” he says.
Emily and Tom

“Everything I’ve tried so far in my life regarding dating hasn’t worked, so this is a last-resort option for me,” she says.
Tom is a 30-year-old business analyst, entrepreneur and doting dog dad from Canberra who struggles to find genuine attraction and connection with women via dating apps. He describes himself as playful, easy-going, and “a bit of a pest”, and has been single for three years.
“The idea of being stranded on an island is really exciting to me. It’s a wild format and completely different to anything I’ve seen,” he says. “And who knows, maybe bonding during this experience is the key to finding love.”
Dani and Emanuel

Dani is a 35-year-old career coach and podcast host who made the tropical move to Queensland’s Magnetic Island after being made redundant from her job in Sydney. She describes herself as introspective, altruistic, and headstrong, has been single for over a year, and is in her self-proclaimed ‘YOLO era’
“Life is short – I’m willing to try everything once. I’ve done a lot of work to prepare for love and feel I’m ready to find ‘the one’,” she says.
Emanuel is a 30-year-old music producer, model and performer who lives on the Gold Coast but was born in Austria. He describes himself as friendly and outgoing, and is ready to put his heart on the line again after a difficult relationship breakdown two years ago.
“I want to find my life partner and I’m willing to do whatever it takes. I liked the concept of being away from the world’s distractions and the survival element. If I could survive this, I could survive anything,” he says.
Georgia and Chad

Georgia is a 35-year-old international flight attendant from Victoria who loves to travel, spend money, and is constantly on the go. She describes herself as “a typical Leo” – social, loyal, and fiery – and has been single for three months.
“I want someone who puts me first, who loves me for me, who is on the same page, has the same values and morals, and wants marriage and family,” she says.
Chad is a 47-year-old from Victoria who works in the medical field as an arthroplasty expert and is ready to give his all to the woman of his dreams. He describes himself as complex, energetic, and loyal, and has been single “the majority of [his] life”.
He says he signed up for the experience because “it’s tough and challenging, which weeds out the weak and superficial”.
Jess and Sam

Jess is a 38-year-old relationship coach from New South Wales who, despite her job helping individuals and couples navigate the world of modern love, often attracts the wrong type of man. She describes herself as introspective, multifaceted and a deep thinker, and has been single for five years.
When asked why she applied for the reality show, she said: “It’s scary, but that’s where growth lives. I like the extremes of it. You go from single and unsure to living on an island with a partner, which is unique and make-or-break. Plus, I love the slow burn side of it. It requires patience, discovery and champions compatibility.”
Sam is a 31-year-old personal trainer who runs a boxing gym in New South Wales and is searching for someone who would make his late father proud. He describes himself as outgoing, confident and very thoughtful, and has been single for eight months.
“[I’m looking for] a person who is caring, loyal, trustworthy, kind, empathetic and shares common values. Someone who wants to have kids and wants to build an empire together,” he says.
Stranded On Honeymoon Island continues Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
