We have an update regarding the Montreal Canadiens player who is reportedly upset about being scratched from Martin St-Louis’ lineup. It’s a rather murky situation.

Technically, forward Emil Heineman is still listed as “day-to-day,” but clearly, there’s something more going on.

On Thursday, the excellent Tony Marinaro reported that Heineman was extremely frustrated, so much so that he refused a ride to the arena.

He chose instead to walk for nearly 30 minutes to cool off.

Whether it’s due to a coach’s decision or a minor injury, the fact is that Heineman is clearly not happy right now.

Personally, I love it!

It shows he’s a true competitor who really wants to contribute to the team’s success!

We talked about this just a few hours ago.

In short, the excellent Patrick Friolet (RDS) has provided an update on Heineman.

Reminder regarding Emil Heineman:

Since last Sunday, he has been listed as “day-to-day” due to an upper-body injury.

That said, not everyone agrees with the situation.

I have to admit I’m surprised not to see at least Emil Heineman in the lineup. Unless he’s not 100%? Strange.

Knowing that he’s practicing like a regular, and that he took part in yesterday’s optional skate wearing a regular jersey, I really believe Heineman is healthy again and is simply being scratched as a healthy scratch..

In any case, it’s a situation to watch closely in the coming hours in Montreal!

There’s also Arber Xhekaj, who must be eager to return to the lineup, especially with the playoffs approaching.

Will he also be left out during the postseason?
