Kyle Sandilands‘ manager Bruno Bouchet has provided an update on the radio star’s driver, who was involved in a devastating car accident over the weekend.

Kyle, 54, revealed on KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O show on Monday that his chauffeur George Plassaras had been involved in a collision with a $1million Rolls-Royce.

Plassaras suffered a broken spine, broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and diaphragm, a torn open abdomen, two broken hips and two broken femurs after the vehicle smashed into his car at 3.30am on Saturday in Rose Bay in eastern Sydney.

Bruno told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday that Plassaras woke up from a coma on Sunday night and only recalls ‘pulling out of his street and then being cut out of his van’ by a heroic rescue team.

‘Despite his condition, he still has a great sense of humour and was making jokes about how badly his friend’s NRL team was going this season,’ he added.

The young woman who was behind the wheel of the Rolls-Royce 4WD while allegedly drunk is the owner of a second Rolls-Royce -a white Ghost convertible – that’s parked in the garage of her luxury penthouse apartment.

LanLan Yang crashed her $1 million Rolls-Royce Cullinan into the Mercedes van being driven by Plassaras on New South Head Road.

NSW Police allege the 23-year-old Yang veered onto the wrong side of the road, having watched CCTV footage of the collision.

Plassaras, who runs Dakota Limousines, was trapped in the wreckage as witnesses called triple zero.

He could be heard yelling for help inside the crushed vehicle, as emergency crews from NSW Police Rescue and Fire and Rescue NSW worked to free him.

Police say Yang returned a positive result in a roadside breath test, and she was arrested at the scene.

At Waverley Police Station, she allegedly refused to undergo a breath analysis.

Yang was charged with causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a motor vehicle, and refusing or failing to submit to breath analysis.

She was granted conditional bail and ordered to surrender her passport.

Under the strict conditions, she has been prohibited from driving a car and must remain at her Waverley mansion between 8pm and 6am daily.

Yang is scheduled to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on August 15.
