Jackie O Henderson has revealed what she plans to do when her 10-year radio contract with the Australian Radio Network (ARN) comes to an end.

Henderson and her Kyle and Jackie O Show co-host, Kyle Sandilands, signed a massive $200 million contract with the broadcaster last year.

Despite having nine years left, it seems she already has her sights set on her next move.

When Sandilands shared that he would one day like to live in a “French chateau”, it prompted Henderson to share her own dreams of living abroad.

“That’s my plan, at the end of the 10 years to go to Italy and and live there for six months every year,” she said.

But the comment clearly came as a shock to Sandilands, who appeared to believe the pair would continue to work together following the end of their contract.

“So what you’re saying after this 10-year deal’s up, that’s it for you?” he asked Henderson, who simply replied, “Yep”.

The show’s newsreader, Brooklyn Ross, then tried to ask Henderson how long she had been planning her move to Italy, but he was abruptly interrupted by Sandilands.

“Forget a dream,” he said.

“The shock here is I got nine years left with her. That’s it.”

Henderson laughed and informed her co-host nine years is “a long time” before he jokingly added that he plans to “die on air”.

Henderson and Sandilands have worked together for over 20 years now.

They first began their partnership in 2000 as co-hosts of the Hot30 Countdown before starting their own show.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show kicked off in 2004 as a drive-time show for both Sydney and Melbourne listeners before moving to a breakfast time slot in 2005.

It was then they decided to focus on their Sydney listeners and found the most success.
