Ivan Demidov fever is running high among Montreal Canadiens fans.

In recent hours, many people have tried to track down the plane carrying the Canadiens’ new phenom.. Well, Marco D’Amico just revealed the answer in his latest article.

The man behind all the scoops involving Demidov, and the first to break the biggest news of the year in Montreal (Demidov’s signing), has shared the following information:

“Demidov is expected to land later in the day on Thursday, April 10, marking a major step in his transition to the NHL.

As a source told RG, Demidov took off from Istanbul at 4:02 p.m. local time on flight TK17 and is expected to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport after 7 p.m. local time.”

There you have it!

A Slight Delay for Ivan Demidov’s Flight

However, upon checking the details for flight TK17 (THY17) from Turkish Airlines, it appears the flight is currently delayed by 30 minutes.

So, if anyone was planning to greet him at the Toronto airport, nothing would surprise me anymore in this story, please note that there’s a bit of a delay.

I don’t believe there will be any further delays, but just so you know, it’s already 30 minutes late at the moment.

Spread the word, in case there are fans currently in Toronto.

In any case, let’s remember that Demidov is expected to land in Toronto around 7:30 p.m. tonight, get some rest, and then meet up with his new Montreal Canadiens teammates on Saturday (still in Toronto).

This is amazing news!
