Australian Idol is bringing back judges Kyle Sandilands, Marcia Hines and Amy Shark as it unveils its Top 30 contestants in front of a live audience.

Australian Idol has locked in its judging panel for 2026, with Kyle SandilandsMarcia Hines and Amy Shark confirmed to return as the search for the nation’s next star continues.

Tickets have now been released for fans to attend the first audience event of the new season, where the Top 30 contestants will be unveiled on stage at the Coliseum Theatre in Rooty Hill.

According to the show, this will be;

“your only chance to witness the final stages of the auditions and get a sneak peak of the singers that could make it through to the 2026 Live Shows.”

Filming is scheduled for Sunday, 19 October, with audience members asked to arrive at 10:30am ahead of an 11:15am start. The event is expected to wrap up around 2:45pm.

Host Ricki-Lee has also shared her excitement ahead of the cameras rolling, posting online that;

“We start filming auditions for @australianidol tomorrow & I’m so excited!!! It’s like Christmas Eve for me! I can’t wait to meet all the wonderful humans & hear all those incredible voices!!!”
