Married At First Sight fans, buckle up – the drama is about to get even juicier.

Channel Nine has officially confirmed that the hit reality juggernaut is getting its very own spin-off, MAFS: After The Dinner Party, launching alongside the 2026 season.

The new series, streaming on Stan, promises to deliver even more explosive moments for diehard fans who can’t get enough of the show’s infamous dinner parties.

Instead of the chaos ending when the wine glasses are cleared, After The Dinner Party will take viewers straight into the fallout, dissecting every awkward toast, savage side-eye and behind-the-scenes bombshell.

According to Nine, the show will feature ‘immediate participant interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, expert analysis, and fan commentary’ – making it the ultimate post-show debrief for MAFS obsessives.

Nine’s Managing Director of Streaming and Broadcast, Amanda Laing, teased what fans can expect from the new format.

‘This series will be the ultimate post-dinner debrief, offering our subscribers an exclusive, unfiltered, and unmissable companion that extends the MAFS experience in a way that has never been done before. You won’t want to miss it,’ she said.

Endemol Shine Australia’s Director of Content, Tara McWilliams, added: ‘This is the ultimate front-row seat to Australia’s biggest social experiment.’

The spin-off will coincide with the highly anticipated 13th season of Married At First Sight, set to premiere in early 2026.

Producers have promised ‘even more love, romance, passion, and drama’ as a fresh batch of hopeful singles take the plunge and say ‘I do’ to complete strangers.

It comes as Daily Mail dropped an exclusive teaser, which promises the steamiest, most chaotic season in the show’s history.

Opening with the ominous line, ‘Way outside of your comfort zone,’ the teaser cuts between a series of shocking scenes – from steamy bedroom moments and lingerie-clad brides to fiery dinner party confrontations that hint at heartbreak, betrayal and scandal.

‘Oh my God,’ one bride gasps as the music intensifies, before the voiceover teases: ‘A sprinkle of drama. Nine’s love juggernaut is back next year.’

In one jaw-dropping moment, a glamorous blonde bride breaks down in tears, apologising to her groom before admitting, ‘I’m really, really sorry… I don’t think I can marry you.’

The 2026 season has already been making headlines behind the scenes, with insiders describing it as ‘an uncontrollable wildfire’ of walkouts, feuds and even a runaway bride who vanished for more than 14 hours during filming.

John AikenAlessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling say the 2026 experiment will push boundaries like never before – both on and off camera.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail, the trio revealed that while the new season is packed with chaos and confrontation, it’s also filled with unexpected love stories.

‘We’ve got a lot of empowered and outspoken women on the show this year who really hold everyone to account – including the experts,’ John laughed.

‘It’s an amazing season,’ Mel added, before Alessandra agreed, saying viewers can expect ‘a particularly feisty’ group of brides this time around.

‘The women this year are interesting and fiery,’ she explained. ‘I like a spicy woman, but sometimes they need to be reined in a little – and we do a little of that too.

Alessandra added, ‘It’s like real life. You just never know. When the magic, chemistry and spark are there, things can work out regardless of the circumstances.’

Married At First Sight returns to screens on Channel Nine in 2026.
