They’re one of Australia’s favourite star couples, but Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly called it quits after 19 years of marriage. TMZ alleges that multiple sources have confirmed the news to them, revealing the couple has been living apart for months.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told Page Six. They add that the Big Little Lies actress “did not want the separation and was trying to save things”.

Multiple sources told TMZ Nicole and Keith have been living apart “since the beginning of summer” and that Nicole is caring for their pair’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, at their home in Nashville.

They added that Nicole is “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone”.

One source claims, “Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home.”

Nicole and Keith married nearly a year after meeting on June 25, 2006 in Sydney’s northern beaches.

The Aussie actress was famously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.

The pair share two children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30.

Keith Urban abruptly leaves interview when asked about Nicole Kidman’s steamy scenes

It comes after Keith made headlines in July for abruptly ending an interview when he was asked about Nicole’s steamy love scenes with younger star Zac Efron in their 2024 film A Family Affair.

The Grammy award winner called into Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning and hosts Hayley Peterson and Max Burford warned the star they were about to ask a “deeply personal question”.

Hayley admitted she felt “uncomfortable” asking the question, so Max asked, “What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?”

Not only did Keith not reply, but a producer confirmed to the hosts that his team “disconnected from Zoom”.

“I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” the producer said.

This moment came just days after the pair celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary.

Nicole shared a sweet photo celebrating the anniversary on Instagram, captioning it: “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban.”
