An insider who has known Nicole Kidman for decades has announced a major twist in the A-lister’s divorce from Keith Urban.

Nicole Kidman would be willing to repair her relationship with Keith Urban despite being blindsided by the country singer, according to an insider.

The source who has known Kidman for decades on Tuesday said the Aussie A-lister “would get back with him (Keith) in a heartbeat” after she filed for divorce from him in September following 19 years of marriage.

The ex-Hollywood golden couple were in the midst of “getting back together” amid marital difficulties when Keith suddenly decided the pair would go their separate ways for good, added the insider who spoke to Daily Mail.

Nicole reportedly felt “betrayed” by their breakup, even though she was the one to file for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The source affirmed Nicole was surprised and believed the pair were working through their problems up until news of their split went public.

It comes after a separate source told the same publication the Babygirl actress and Blue Ain’t Your Colour crooner could reconcile, but any romance between the once-loved-up couple was non-existent.

Keith has reportedly already moved on with a younger woman, rumoured to be his guitarist Maggie Baugh, 25, or singer Kelsea Ballerini, 32.

He has been involved in a series of eyebrow-raising antics amid the speculation, including changing the lyrics of his song to mention Maggie instead of Nicole and pretending to faint at the mention of his ex-wife.

Kidman has put on a brave face with the pair’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, as Urban cops criticism from the actress’s fans.

The trio fronted Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, where Nicole debuted a stunning new haircut and announced her return as ambassador for the iconic French fashion house.

Kidman is said to be preparing for a new start in Portugal with the teens, eyeing properties in the ultra-exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club.

She has reportedly viewed homes in the luxurious Comporta region, about an hour south of Lisbon, where neighbours include George and Amal Clooney, Paris Hilton and Princess Eugenie, according to the Daily Mail.

Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias in July reported she submitted official residency paperwork to the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) without Urban’s name listed.

Just months later, Kidman filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years.

Divorce filings obtained by TMZ revealed Kidman sought to be the “primary residential parent” of Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

The girls will spend 306 days with Kidman and 59 days with Urban each year under a parenting plan.
