Auction day isn’t far away!
Over the past ten weeks, fans have watched the five teams on The Block completely transform their Daylesford homes, all in the hope of selling them for big bucks on auction day.
Now that the Blockheads are putting the finishing touches on their gardens, fans are starting to wonder when the much-anticipated auctions will take place.
Read on to find out everything you need to know about The Block 2025 auctions.
When is The Block 2025 finale?
Like previous years, The Block 2025 finale will be auction day, which is when all five houses are auctioned off, and the winner is decided.
The auction date has been confirmed for Saturday, October 25, 2025 and The Block finale will air the day after on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Interestingly, the date appeared to be officially released earlier than normal, and that likely had something to do with a slip-up by Robby and Mat’s auctioneer, Tom Panos.
In September, Tom posted a YouTube video about the impending auction, seemingly confirming the date, while announcing that he would be selling house five.
“The 25th of October, all eyes are on house number five, the one with the pickleball court,” he said.
Shortly after, Realestate.com.au confirmed The Block 2025 auction for that date.

How do The Block auctions work?
Every year, The Block teams are assigned a reserve price for their homes after the renovations are complete.
Normally, those figures differ depending on each house’s size and layout, but this season in Daylesford, the original layouts of all five homes are identical — so it’s likely their reserves will be pretty similar too. The reserve prices are usually shared during the episodes that air the week of the auction.
On auction day, whatever the houses sell for over the reserve, contestants get to take home. And, the house that makes the highest amount over reserve scores an extra $100,000 prize money and is crowned the winner of The Block.
