We’re up to the last week on The Block 2025 and Foreman Dan’s “favourite time of the year”.

A.k.a the return of ‘Defect Dan’ as he complies a mammoth list of every single defect and unfinished space teams need to address before Auction Day.

What happens to the hallways we don’t see during reveals? What happens to the re-dos?!

Defect Dan is back – and you’ll never guess which house has the least defects

As Front Yard Week kicked off, Foreman Dan paid each team a special visit. In his hands were “a big book of defects” for each of the houses.

Han really hoped her house wasn’t the middle bundle.

‘Defect Dan’ pointed out the team with the least amount of defects in the home… and it was Han and Can in House 2!

But the celebrations were short-lived when the foreman revealed they’ve got to finish or address everything on that defect list by Sunday’s reveal.

With a dwindling budget and a front yard to reveal, the growing list of things to do was putting pressure on the girls.

The pair couldn’t agree on the hero feature of their front lawn.

“I’ve got a million things I’m trying to sort out, just stop,” Han reacted in a heated discussion.

“That’s defect stuff, the judges aren’t looking at that,” said Can stressed that the front yard is worth $50,000 of their reserve.

“The front yard comes first.”

Their builder stepped in with some much needed words of wisdom, reminding them to “pick your battles”.

“I’ve got four sisters,” he laughed to cameras.

What counts as a defect?

The Block 2025This week will be the chance for teams to finish their hallways. (Nine)
“Defects can range from wiping off a bit of paint from your frame as opposed to finish plastering in a hallway, things like that,” Foreman Dan explained.

“So some of them could be major and costly,” he said.

Other defects could be fixed with a simple soapy wipe!
