New Channel Seven presenter Alex Cullen made a woman cry on Tuesday after she won a staggering sum on his game show Winning Arvo.
The presenter, 44, who recently made the move to the Seven Network after being axed by Channel Nine in January, was video chatting to Deborah from Geelong, who was competing for a cash prize.
He explained she had to choose where to drop a coin on their game board, and depending on where it landed she could win up to $10,000.
Deborah said she felt lucky and picked slot two.
The coin quickly landed on the $10,000 grand prize, awarding her the hefty sum.
‘Oh my goodness! You just won $10,000! I’m not kidding, how do you feel right now?’ Alex asked the stunned contestant.

‘I actually want to cry! Thank you so much! It is going to make a hell of a difference, now we can paint our house!’ Deborah said as she began weeping, revealing the money could also help her sick husband.
‘Deborah, I am so happy for you and your family!’ Alex added.
Earlier this month, details were revealed about Alex’s TV comeback after his shock axing by Nine, with Seven unveiling the star as the ‘face’ of its new afternoon programming.
The Daily Mail revealed Alex will be at the centre of the Seven Network’s programming on weekday afternoons as part of a new news-and-game show line-up, known internally at the network as ‘Winning Arvos’.
Viewers will be treated to fresh line-up of game shows, plus news updates from Alex, and on-air giveaway segments as part of a bid for TV dominance.
The news scotches longstanding rumours that Alex would helm a one-hour news program each day at 3pm – with him instead providing news updates on the hour, every hour.
An insider told Daily Mail that Alex is at the heart of what has been described as a ‘total shake-up’ of Seven’s afternoon content.
‘He’s now going to be on all afternoon as the face of Seven,’ an insider said.

‘It’s a total shake-up where he’ll be delivering news updates on the hour, every hour from the Melbourne studio and also hosting new afternoon giveaways on-air.’
They added: ‘It’s more news, new game show programming, plus more chance for people to win prizes at home – a total new look in the afternoons.’
Along with a daytime news bulletin, there will also be a giveaway every hour, sandwiched between Seven’s game show content.
‘It was a significant day yesterday with me, signing a contract with Seven, which was really exciting,’ Alex recently said of the move, joking his program would beat Channel Nine game show Tipping Point in the ratings.
It is somewhat of a homecoming for the veteran journalist, who was a presenter on Seven’s current affairs program Sunday Night from 2010 to 2019.
Alex will be working dual roles, as he will be continuing his position as sports presenter on the top-rated Melbourne breakfast radio show.
Earlier this year, he was axed from the Nine Network after he accepted $50,000 from billionaire Block buyer Adrian Portelli.
The scandal kicked off when Portelli had grown tired of his long-used nickname ‘Mr Lambo’ and offered the cash reward to the first person to use his new moniker on air, with Alex obliging on the Today show.
The Block entrepreneur then posted what appeared to be a bank transfer of $50,000 to the presenter on Instagram.
Accepting cash, gifts or benefits to undermine journalistic independence, and improperly using a journalistic position for personal gain, are both breaches of the journalism code of ethics as defined by the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance union.
