Golden Bachelor star Bianca Dye shared an intimate moment with Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden, on Monday night, detailing her ten-year IVF battle.

The radio veteran, 52, has already gained a reputation as the ‘funny girl’ on the Nine reality series, but this week showed a more vulnerable side.

The episode saw Bear inviting Bianca, Katrina, Laura, Terri, Kim and Lauren for a cross-country horse ride.

Unlike the other ladies, Bianca struggled to wrangle her stubborn horse.

But her determination and quick wit won Bear over and he invited her on a surprise one-on-one date.

The pair retired to a romantic campfire setting and Bear revealed to camera what he hoped to achieve with the date.

‘I’m always laughing with Bianca, she’s so easy to get along with, but sometimes I think she goes for the joke, rather than letting me see the real her,’ he admitted.

‘So, I’m hoping by spending some time alone tonight, we can break through that awkwardness and see if there could be something there between us.’

For her part, Bianca said that she was shocked to be chosen for the interlude.

‘I’m actually feeling quite surprised,’ she said. ‘I don’t feel like I’m the person that actually gets picked very often.’

‘I’m so out of my comfort zone right now but in the most amazing way.’

She also admitted to being terrified to show Bear her vulnerable side.

‘I’ve used humour to deflect my whole life. I’ve been told I’m too much by a few people who meant a lot to me in the past,’ Bianca revealed.

‘I’ve done it for so long it’s like a default. Being vulnerable with Bear literally terrifies me. What if he doesn’t like what he sees?’

Bianca let her walls down when Bear asked her if she had children, with the radio star admitting to an unsuccessful decade-long IVF battle.

‘I did IVF…it was crazy,’ she told Bear. ‘It was, like, maybe ten years on and off and I didn’t end up having any kids.

‘I’ve shut the door, but it hurts.’

Bianca doubled down on the sentiment as she spoke to producers, adding: ‘There’s been a lot of heartbreak in my life.

‘I had relationships break down because I tried to have a baby so desperately.

‘We spend all of our youth thinking we’ve got so much time. There’s sort of this age that you hit where you’re like I’m on the other side and time is running out.’

Clearly taken with Bianca’s display of vulnerability, Bear surprised the blonde beauty with a rose, admitting that she was ‘special.’

‘Our conversation went quite deep, but it was really nice to see the real Bianca,’ Bear said.

‘She’s been through a hell of a lot in her life…but she’s got a beautiful heart.’

‘I felt like I really opened up to him but I was still absolutely s***ting myself on the inside,’ she said.

‘But he’s staring deep into my eyes, he seems so invested in what I’m saying, and that doesn’t happen very often.

‘Bear makes me feel seen. I feel like I don’t get to be the princess in the fairy tales,’ she said.

‘I’ve felt like that a lot so just to have that moment where he said I see something special in you, it was really beautiful for me.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Bear got very up-close-and-personal with West Australian hopeful Gera, 52, on a puppy yoga date.

The sparks quickly flew as the pups took a backseat to kissing and canoodling, with the real estate business owner securing herself a rose.

A spark was also ignited between Bear and Sunny, during another intimate moment at the Cocktail Party.

The pair bonded over losing their mothers and she later surprised the Bachelor with a passionate kiss.

Unfortunately it was curtains for 60-year-old Hamidah, who walked away from the mansion without a rose.
