The Block‘s Karstan and Max have teased a “BIG CHANGE” is coming their way after a very busy 12 months.

The Season 9 stars turned “full time travellers” sold their family home in April 2024, and have been living life on the road with their two young children Zuri, 5, and Zena, 1.

In May 2025, they made the “exciting and scary” leap to purchase a 20,000 square property.

“Can’t believe this is happening?! 💚” they revealed in a joint post on Instagram.

“We can’t keep this a secret any longer! We’ve been bursting to share this exciting news with you all.”

The family of four have found a new place to call home – on a whopping five acres!

“If you’ve followed along for a while now you would know that to help fund our lifestyle and to get ahead we invest in property…” the pair went on.

“Over the years we’ve done massive Reno’s on tiny blocks but we have been craving a BIG CHANGE and a base.

“Soooooo… after a lot of dreaming and chatting about having a big wide open space to ourselves… WE FINALLY DID IT!”

Karstan and Max revealed the biggest block of land they’ve ever owned was 256 square metres. Now, they are proud owners a of massive 20,000 square metre property.
Sharing a spectacular aerial shot of their new outdoor oasis, Karstan said: “Scary as hell, we’re not going to lie, to purchase it was scary.

“And now to look at it is scarier, I’m no farmer,” he laughed.

The parents revealed they don’t have “any concrete plans” just yet but are excited about the projects ahead.

“It’s exciting, scary and just mind boggling all at the same time,” they wrote.

And while there is a mammoth amount of work in store for the pair, Karstan and Max aren’t digging into the farm life just yet.

“[This] will have to wait cause we’ve got way bigger plans happening right now….” they explained. “(AUSTRALIA IS CALLING… and the adventures ahead of us are like nothing we’ve ever done before).”

Karstan, Max and their two kids have been on a whirlwind Aussie adventure travelling up the east coast of Australia while “squeezing in” trips to Japan and Thailand.

“We travel full time, we don’t like being in the one spot for too long. We’re definitely always looking for our next high, and how we can up the ante,” they wrote in an earlier post.

“Slowing down is hard for us, but it’s a goal we do speak about.”

Friends and fans were ecstatic about the big news with one follower writing: “Oh how epic is this!! Can’t wait to see what you guys do to this paradise 😍.”

“Congratulations team 👏,” commented Block 2016 winners Karlie and Will, while a third wrote: “I wish you all the luck in the world on your new adventure xxx❤️.”

Karstan and Max first bursts onto our screens on 2014 for The Block‘s epic Glasshouse season.

They competed against fan favourites Michael and Carlene, Chris and Jenna, Shannon and Simon, and Darren and Deanne.

Their property sold for $1,670,000 placing them third with $40,000 profit.
