It’s a five-room week on The Block so ripping up your floor and starting again is the last thing you’d want to be doing.

Only, it’s what Robby and Mat are doing, after Foreman Dan spotted a disaster unfolding in their powder room.

“Hey Robby, is this waterproofing protected?” Dan asked as he walked over to House 5.

You can see the panic in Robby’s eyes.

Ladders, tools, metal screws all wreaked havoc on their unprotected, and now damaged, waterproofing.

“This is just ridiculous right now,” said the foreman.

One ladder has even pierced through the waterproofing meaning it will need to be redone and potentially miss the deadline for Freedom’s cabinetry installation.

But it gets worse…

Because Robby and Mat moved the position of their laundry, but didn’t factor in a waste pipe which now has to be added, it spelled disaster number two.

They also need to rip up all their waterproofing in the proposed laundry space and raise the floor level with structural cement to make it fall towards the drain.

“This is a disaster,” Dan declared.

And he apparently warned them about it the day before but said they “laughed it off” like they always do.

On TOP of that, their new waste pipe is sitting in “no man’s land” which requires them to extend their walls to fit their cabinetry if that’s even possible?!

“Oh we’re doomed,” Robby reacted.

Doomed they are, considering they delivered an unfinished bathroom last week!
