The American-born chart icon, now 67, left ITV anchors Adil Ray, 51, and Charlotte Hawkins, 50, stunned with her strict daily regime.

Heaven Is A Place On Earth singer Belinda Carlisle appeared on the Good Morning Britain sofa and revealed how yoga, meditation and chanting were her non-negotiables – even when travelling in a different time zone.

The former Go-Go’s lead singer donned a patterned blouse with matching neck tie, accessorising her chic look with gold hoop earrings and a bouncy blow dry.

Los Angeles-born Belinda now told how she sets her alarm for 245am and starts her day with coffee and a 45-minute meditation.

She confessed: “Back then I was taking advantage of being rock and roll, whatever that entails.

“Now its a spiritual base I live my life from, that includes chanting and yoga.”

She continued: “I start with coffee, listen to a great teacher like Ram Dass, and then I have a yoga chanting and breathing practise every day, so that takes me … even if I’m away.”

Belinda added: “I was up at 245am this morning,” to which Adil squealed: “245am? That was before me, you could have done this show.”

Charlotte then added: “Listen you are looking amazing, maybe we all need to get up a little bit earlier.”

FAN FAVE

Throughout her four decade long career, she’s been nominated for 14 Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, a BRIT Award and a Grammy Award.

Belinda has had various smash-hit singles including Mad About You, I Get Weak, Circle in the Sand and Leave a Light On.

Eighties superstar Belinda Carlisle hasn’t aged a day since global fame as she’s hailed as a ‘gorgeous queen’
Her only US chart topper came in the form of iconic hit Heaven Is a Place on Earth, which reached number one in ten territories worldwide when it was released in 1987.

She recently released a makeup-free snap on her Instagram grid page where she showed off her ageless beauty.

Belinda was then hailed an “ageless queen” as she revealed a reunion for her band.

GIRLBAND GANG

Before she went solo, Belinda was originally the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s who have been hailed as the ‘most successful all-female rock band of all time’.

She joined the group after their formation in 1978 and soon had charts success with their debut album Beauty and the Beat back in 1981.

Throughout the years, the group sold over seven million records worldwide, received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2011, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

They are also known as the first and only girlband to date to write their own songs and play their own instruments to have achieved a number one album.

After their first split, they reunited in 1999, and Belinda – whilst simultaneously maintaining a solo career – performed with her old bandmates until they disbanded in 2022.

However, in 2024 the band got back together and were working on various live shows.
