I don’t believe they’re in the woods. If both children had wandered off into the forest, there would have been some trace—something. The scent trail wouldn’t have just stopped at the driveway. It would have led into the woods.

Right now, the YouTube streets are buzzing about a series of text messages that have been circulating on social media. They’ve made their way into Facebook groups, and so many people are sharing them. But before I really dove into the content and started scrutinizing what was being said, I wanted to be sure of their authenticity.

Thankfully, It’s a Crimeing Shame has been doing incredible work keeping Lily and Jack’s faces—and their story—out there. She’s shared these texts, including ones allegedly from Daniel, the stepfather, and from Belinda, the children’s paternal grandmother, who had been texting with Malaya, their mother.

So, for anyone still questioning these texts, I can confirm today that they are 100% real.
Belinda herself has responded publicly to people on Facebook asking for proof. Her response reads:

“Please, no drama. These messages are from my phone. I am doing everything and anything I can to keep Lily and Jack’s pictures out there.”

And if you’re still unsure—maybe wondering if it’s a fake account—let me reassure you. I’ve gone back to confirm it is indeed her actual profile. Belinda has been advocating for Lily and Jack since the moment they disappeared, even though she hadn’t seen them in months. She posts their pictures daily on her Facebook story and reportedly went out to help look for them shortly after they vanished.

Meanwhile, her son—the children’s biological father—has remained silent. We haven’t heard a word from him, and he, too, hadn’t seen the kids in months.

As far as we know, there were no police-led searches for Lily and Jack this past weekend.
I pray this case doesn’t go cold.

Malaya, their mother, has stopped speaking publicly and is now lawyered up, while Daniel continues to talk to the media.
