TEXTS FROM MALEHYA RELEASEDLILLY AND JACK SULLIVAN
Sadly, Jack and Lily Sullivan are still missing, with no confirmed sightings since May 1st — the day before the siblings were reported missing.

A number of text messages have been floating around online. The last batch we saw was from Daniel Martell, and it seems like he was defending himself and his relationship with the children — emphasizing that they came to him for everything, and not Mallaya. He claimed they were wild with Mallaya but well-behaved and listened to him.

Some people believe these texts are genuine and that Daniel really said all these things. A number of others are very skeptical. I’m going to say: let’s take everything with a grain of salt and make of it what you will.

More texts have been released a few hours ago from the channel It’s a Cringming Shame (the channel is linked below). This is the same channel that released the texts involving Daniel. These new texts are between Mallaya and the children’s paternal grandmother.

It’s interesting to get a sense of Mallaya’s state of mind on the day the children vanished. She says she was keeping them at home because they had a cold, and that they got outside using the back door — which they can’t hear open. I thought it was initially said that only one of the children had a cough, and we couldn’t figure out why both kids were kept at home.

The texts go on to say that the children liked exploring and playing in the woods — under supervision. This is interesting, since Daniel previously said Mallaya rarely went outside with the kids, and that it was him who usually took them out.

Mallaya says she is distraught and never thought they would run off like that. She notes that they’ve been missing since 9:40 and that they like to wander a lot.

The grandmother asks if she wants to demand more searches, and Mallaya replies that there’s already a big search team on the ground, with more coming — but they want information about Cody, because he doesn’t see the children.

Mallaya also says that many people suspect the children were picked up by someone, since there’s no trace of them — or of Lily’s backpack.

The grandmother then questions whether the kids ever go out to the road. Mallaya says:

“Normally, no. But if they were in the front yard and someone stopped and convinced them to come over, they would go. They don’t understand stranger danger.”

So far, I’ve only gone through the first few texts. If they’re true, it seems that Mallaya was trying to get a version of events out there for anyone questioning what happened to the children.

This grandmother is also the one who showed up at the vigil and has been posting almost daily on Facebook about Jack and Lily.
