Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. Today we’ve got some emotional — and honestly shocking — audio from Daniel’s mom. She’s sharing her full timeline. But the big question is: does it really add up?
“Patty’s to do laundry. They didn’t get home till 10:00. The reason I know is my dog barked — barked and let me know. I opened up my door. I said to Daniel, ‘You’re getting home kind of late, aren’t you?’ He said, ‘I would have been home a lot earlier.’
“Thursday morning, they didn’t go to school. I heard they went to town. I don’t know where they went. I don’t know what they bought. Nothing.
“And then I come out of the trailer, I heard the kids outside, and I opened up the door. Jack and Lily were right out here by the playhouse. If you look at the Google Map — between the playhouse and the woodshed where the swings are — they were out there looking for worms and centipedes. Cuz when I opened up the door, Jack said, ‘Look, I found a worm! I found a centipede!’ I said, ‘Good boy. You keep looking.’
“Then I went out. I started raking up — raking up the yard here, leveling it out for a swimming pool for the kids, ‘cause I was going to put one up this year. Waiting for Daniel to help me build the fence, ‘cause he had to go look for his tools. Then after that, when Daniel came and helped me put the 2x4s up — or the boards up — on the fence, I continued with the fence. Then I came back in to get something to eat.
“I don’t know what time the kids went inside, or what time they went to bed, or anything.
“And then Friday morning, I got up at 6:00. I sat here and played on Facebook. I sent a thing to my brother at 6:24. And then, at 7 o’clock, I went out and did up the chickens. I came back in, I sat here, I played on Teams — which is the worst thing you can get addicted to.
“Then my brother called me at 8:48. We talked for 2 minutes and 59 seconds. He asked me if I was going to town. I said, ‘No. I’m staying home. I’m going back to bed to have a sleep.’
“I went back to bed. It wasn’t long after that — I can’t tell you how long — I laid there for a little while playing on my phone, playing on Facebook. I dozed off. I heard the dog bark. The kids were outside. I heard the kids. And then, after that, I didn’t hear nothing. Everything just went completely silent.
“And I don’t know how long after that, I heard Daniel yelling for the kids. I figured he was yelling at the kids to get inside. Or Jack was letting my chickens out, which he usually does — he’s let them out a few times — so I figured Daniel was getting mad at him for that.
“I seen Malaya at the end of the driveway. Malaya was seen in front of my RV when I opened the door — about five or ten minutes after Daniel was hollering for the kids. I opened the door and Malaya was standing in front of my RV.
“And I asked her, ‘What’s up?’ She said, ‘The kids are missing.’ I said, ‘How long?’ She said, ‘20 minutes.’
“I already answered this question. My brother called me at 8:48 and asked me if I wanted to go to town. I said, ‘No, I was going back to bed.’ So I laid back down. I was playing on Facebook. I dozed off. I’m not sure what exact time — I didn’t look at the clock.
“My dog woke me up. I heard the kids outside. And then I dozed back off again. And the next thing you know, I heard Daniel hollering Jack and Lily’s name.
“Then, about maybe five or ten minutes after I heard him — I’m not sure the exact time because I didn’t look at the clock — when I opened the door, Malaya was standing there in front of the RV. And I said, ‘What’s up?’ And she said, ‘The kids are missing. The kids — Lily and Jack — are gone.’
“And I said, ‘How long?’ She said, ‘About 20 minutes.’
“I don’t know what time I seen Malaya outside because I didn’t look at the clock. I came in, I grabbed my boots, and headed up to the woods.”
In the unfolding events surrounding the disappearance of Jack and Lily, a compelling piece of the puzzle has surfaced: a detailed timeline shared by Daniel’s mother. Her recounting is emotional, vivid, and, at times, deeply personal — but it’s also left many people asking whether her story truly aligns with the facts. This latest revelation, recorded in an audio clip now making rounds on social media, paints a picture of a routine morning that turned alarmingly silent.
The day started off in an ordinary way. Jack, known for helping out with the chickens, was doing what he usually did: letting them out in the morning. It wasn’t anything unusual — he had done it before, and no one thought much of it. According to Daniel’s mother, she had seen the kids that morning playing by the playhouse near the woodshed. She described how Jack was excitedly calling out about a worm and a centipede he had found. “Good boy,” she told him, as she continued with her yard work, leveling the ground in preparation for setting up a swimming pool for the children.
She went on to explain how Daniel later helped her put up some 2×4 boards to start building a fence around the area. She didn’t mention anything unusual about the kids’ behavior during that time. They had been playing normally outside. After some work outside, she came inside to get something to eat, unaware of when the children might have gone back into the trailer or when they went to bed.
The next day, Friday morning, began early. She was up at 6:00 a.m., playing on Facebook and messaging her brother by 6:24. By 7:00, she had gone outside to do the morning chicken chores. Afterwards, she returned inside and continued scrolling on her phone, this time playing on Teams, which she jokingly called “the worst thing you can get addicted to.” Her brother called at 8:48 a.m., and they talked for just under three minutes. When he asked if she was going to town, she said no — she was planning to go back to bed.
After the call ended, she did as she said — laid down, phone in hand, scrolling Facebook. She eventually dozed off, only to be stirred awake by her dog barking. That was when she heard the kids outside again. The sounds of their voices reassured her everything was normal. But then, she said, there was a sudden silence. Everything went quiet, and that was when she began to sense something was off.
Not long after that, she heard Daniel’s voice, yelling for the kids. At the time, she thought maybe he was just frustrated — maybe Jack had let the chickens out again, a habit he’d picked up and gotten scolded for before. The yelling didn’t strike her as an emergency at first. But what happened next changed everything.
Within five to ten minutes of hearing Daniel calling for the kids, she opened the door and saw Malaya standing in front of her RV. Surprised, she asked her what was going on. Malaya told her that the children were missing. “How long?” she asked. “About 20 minutes,” Malaya replied. That was the moment when what had started as an ordinary morning turned into a terrifying mystery.
In her account, she repeats several key timeframes — the 8:48 a.m. call from her brother, the brief nap she took afterwards, and the moments she was awoken by the barking dog. But there are also gaps. She admits she didn’t look at the clock after lying back down. She doesn’t know exactly when the dog barked, or precisely how long she was asleep. She’s honest about these uncertainties, but it’s these very details that are raising eyebrows among those trying to piece together the truth.
When she saw Malaya outside her RV, she says it had only been minutes since Daniel began calling for the children. That’s important because it helps frame the possible window in which Jack and Lily went missing. Still, she emphasizes that she didn’t immediately realize the urgency of the situation. Her tone, in both the audio and her statements, is one of confusion and disbelief — the realization that something terrible might be happening was still sinking in.
After Malaya told her about the children’s disappearance, she didn’t hesitate. She put on her boots and headed into the woods to help search. Her account ends there, at the beginning of what would become a full-scale search effort, one that has since consumed the attention of the entire community.
The story she tells is full of little human moments — casual conversations, the excitement of children finding bugs, the frustrations of unfinished projects. But it’s also riddled with unanswered questions. Could the kids have wandered off in that short, silent window? Was someone watching? Did something happen closer to the time of her phone call than initially thought? Her timeline is plausible, but only if every piece fits just so — and that’s exactly what investigators are now working to determine.
There’s also the emotional weight in her voice as she tells the story, particularly when she discusses her dog barking and the sudden silence. It’s clear she’s haunted by those moments. The guilt of not checking on the kids sooner is palpable, even if she never says it outright. She did what many do on a lazy morning — scrolled on her phone, dozed off, assumed everything was fine until it wasn’t.
As the investigation continues, Daniel’s mother’s account is likely to be scrutinized further. Digital footprints — like timestamps on messages, phone call logs, and activity data — will be critical in either supporting or contradicting her story. For now, her version of events offers both a chilling look at the last known movements of Jack and Lily and a sobering reminder of how quickly normal can become nightmare.
While some may question the consistency of her recollection, others see a mother and grandmother doing her best to recall a deeply traumatic moment. Whether her story “adds up” is not just a matter of public opinion — it will come down to evidence, timelines, and perhaps most importantly, finding Jack and Lily. Until then, her voice remains one of many trying to make sense of the unimaginable.
