Good Morning Britain fans claimed to “switch off” as they issued the same complaint just minutes into Wednesday’s (October 8) show.
During today’s edition of the hit ITV programme, hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls presented the latest news from across the UK and around the world.
They were joined in the studio by Laura Tobin, who delivered regular weather forecasts, while Charlotte Hawkins handled the rest of the day’s news.
Following on from Tuesday’s political coverage, Ed and Susanna shared further updates from the Conservative Party conference in Manchester.
They also spoke to Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis after millions of drivers are in line for £700 each over the car finance mis-selling scandal.

However, GMB viewers were soon left feeling frustrated as they learned that former Conservative MP Nadine Dorries would be appearing on the show.
Nadine, who served as culture secretary and as a health minister under Boris Johnson, notably defected to Reform UK last month.
Ahead of her appearance on GMB, one disgruntled fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Nadine Dorries? I won’t be watching then,” with another adding: “No thanks.”
A third said: “Oh god defo switching over today,” with another similarly sharing: “This is ridiculous.”
A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: “Every day #GMB feels more like a Party Political Broadcast on behalf of the Reform Party.”

During her interview on the show, Nadine said that she felt “liberated” and “relieved” after moving over to Reform.
“I’d agonised, it’s like leaving your family. And it’s not something you do easily or lightly. I did take a long, long time. But when I made the leap, I just thought, ‘Phew!’” she explained.
“It’s a new party, Reform is new. Nigel Farage has been saying the same things for 30 years; it’s one of the reasons why I felt relieved, actually, Susanna. To actually be in a party that had principle, a party that had been banging the same drum consistently; didn’t keep changing its mind just to win various groups of voters.”
GMB viewers continued to share their thoughts online, with one person writing: “Absolute madness the amount of air time given to a party with a paltry 5 MPs, why aren’t we hearing from the party in power or the Greens who also have 5 MPs?”
