What has now caught the most attention amongst those pictures is his picture, in which Bieber can be seen crying. He wore a light green bucket hat and a white zip-up sweatshirt, his eyes tearing up.

His fans instantly took it to his comment section to ask the singer if he was doing okay or not. A series of comments asking if there was something bothering him or going on started to fill up his comment section. A fan on X pointed out,

“Justin Bieber’s good friend and old roommate rapper, Chris King, just died. I believe that is why he was crying in this photo.”

This claim led fans to remember that Bieber had shared a heartfelt tribute for his late friend after he passed away on Saturday. Chris King was gunned down in an alleyway in Nashville, Tennessee, while he was hanging out with his friends. Bieber took to his social media story and wrote,

“Love you, bro. This one hurts. Please keep his family in your prayers. See you in paradise, brother.”

 

Bieber also revealed that the two of them lived together at King’s Krib for a year, almost ten years ago.

A press release from the Metro Nashville Police Department [via Yahoo!] shared that the artist was with his friends when three suspects attempted to rob his group.

During the interaction, Chris King heard gunfire, which is when he realized he was struck. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but had been long gone.
