we will be looking at why Jay would send a picture saying he had stolen a watch into a group chat—which included family and locals. Make sure to mention that Jay was seen alone. Also, Rocky goes live again, and it was a complete mess.

So, what we are going to look at first is a statement from a local. Her statement says:

“I never saw the missing boy, but I know people saw him walking on his own. I saw the two British men who stayed here. They came in for coffee a couple of times. One was aged about 40, the other one was slightly younger.”

In this statement, the main thing that this woman wanted to mention is that Jay was on his own. Also, the witness was named only as Araceli—so maybe this was a code name. This person remains anonymous, which makes it even more suspicious.

But she says that she saw Aub and Rocky a couple of times because they came in for coffee. So I’m assuming this person works at a café, which could be Oilia’s Café, I’m guessing. But Aub and Rocky seem to be regulars. If they were only in Masca for a couple of days and went to the café a couple of times, then this means they went there every day—or twice in a day. So maybe they would have bumped into Oilia at some point (and that’s if this witness is talking about Oilia’s café).

What this witness actually does in this statement is confirm that Rocky and Aub had been seen in Masca and were staying at the Airbnb—and that Jay was alone. So, it clears Rocky and Aub straight away. And that’s what all of the witnesses who apparently saw Jay after he left the Airbnb did as well.

Let me know what you guys think about this down in the comments. Did Aub have connections that led to witnesses coming forward saying they saw Jay and he was alone? Or was Jay actually seen walking on his own—and instead, maybe he was trying to get away from someone and ended up going off the road to avoid being seen? I just think there’s something off with these witnesses.

So, what we’re going to look at next is the clip where Joey and Josh talk about the stolen watch, because we looked at what they said in the last video—but there is something I want to speak about being around the Rolex.

And the Rolex was the first thing that was reported on. It was a WhatsApp message, and it was sent into a WhatsApp group chat of friends and family.

Do we know who the actual friends and family were? We know it’s his mom for sure. But we know Debbie Duncan’s in that chat, right? And it’s from Jay’s phone, to be clear. It’s from Jay’s phone.

Now, Jay was what—19? Yeah. Right. Okay.

So, when I was 19, I was going out and I was getting on it. Yeah, I lived with my parents at the time. I used to come in at 6:00 in the morning. My parents are late risers anyway, and I would make sure that I did not leave my bedroom. Whether that be 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. the next day, I might order a Domino’s or something.

So, the point that Joey makes is that the picture Jay sent into the group chat about stealing the watch and going to sell it was sent to a group chat which included family and even Debbie herself.

Now, I’m not sure if this is definitely 100% correct information—but if it is, why the hell would Jay send this to a group chat with his own mum in? I can’t imagine him doing that. And if Jay was going to be involved in any crime out in Tenerife, which would end up with him stealing a watch, then I’m sure that he wouldn’t want his mum to know anything about this.

And the same with Warren—I don’t think Jay would have wanted his parents thinking he was involved in criminal activities in Tenerife, especially after what had happened in the UK.

So, if this message was sent into a group chat with his family in, then personally I believe it was sent by someone else, not Jay. And I’m not saying that’s definitely what happened and everyone else is a liar. That’s literally just my opinion, because I don’t believe Jay would have stolen a watch and then one of his first thoughts would be that he’s going to show his family what he’s done.

You have to think—Jay was 19. And I’m sure Debbie and Warren weren’t happy about Jay being involved with what happened to Tom Hilton. So, I very much doubt that Jay would have stolen a watch and then sent it to his parents.
