However, people did not start putting it under scrutiny until the rapper was arrested and charged with crimes related to s*x trafficking and racketeering.

Bieber made a major decision regarding his management earlier this year that was brushed off at first glance. That changed quickly when Diddy was arrested and people began to wonder if the Sorry singer firing business manager Lou Taylor had something to do with this. To be precise, the question in everyone’s mind was whether or not Bieber knew what was coming.

Justin Bieber has been in the entertainment industry since he was a teenager. He was discovered by American record executive Scooter Braun. Stardom came to the young pop star overnight as his chart-topping singles were winning the hearts of people all around the world. He was a teen idol with international recognition before anyone could tell what exactly happened.
Bieber was managed by Braun for a decade and a half before he seemed to have decided to fire the record executive who had had a rather ugly fight with Taylor Swift over some of her music. In June 2024, a source told PEOPLE:
Scooter Braun and SB Projects are not involved in Justin’s current business or management and will not be involved moving forward. Justin is excited about the projects he is currently working on and is focused on what’s in front of him.
This news was reported soon after a source had initially divulged to the publication that Braun and Bieber were in a contract that did not allow the latter to fire him yet. At the same time, it was reported that the As Long As You Love Me singer had parted with his business manager Lou Taylor, and hired Johnny Depp’s business manager, Edward White.

Lou Taylor’s management firm Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group has managed some very high-profile celebrities like Mary J. Blige, Reba McEntire, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jennifer Lopez, members of the Kardashian-Jenners family, and Gwen Stefani.
In the civil lawsuit that producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filed against Diddy in February, it was contended that a network of associates had helped the rapper commit the misconduct he was charged with (via U.S. Court Documents). One of these associates is Robin Greenhill, a services director at Tri Star. The lawsuit read:
Robin Greenhill, the accountant, [who] would ensure the wiring, funds transfer, or cash payments to s*x workers.
Many will remember that this firm also landed in the limelight due to its involvement in Britney Spears’ conservatorship. In 2021, The New York Times reported that according to a court investigator’s report, Greenhill was in control of Spears’ credit card and medication. Whether or not Bieber was aware of the storm that would take over the rapper’s reputation remains unclear, but there is a good chance that this was the case.
