It was pink cupcakes and pure joy on Fox News as Kayleigh McEnany shared a major family update live on air.

During a recent broadcast, the former White House press secretary and current Outnumbered co-host surprised viewers with a heartwarming gender reveal. She was joined by her husband, MLB pitcher Sean Gilmartin, and their two kids: five-year-old Blake and toddler Nash.

Clad in a vibrant purple dress, the 37-year-old news personality beamed as her daughter squealed with excitement after discovering the pink filling inside her cupcake. The moment confirmed what many fans had already guessed — Kayleigh and Sean are expecting a baby girl.

“We as a family are ready to be outnumbered,” Kayleigh said with a smile. She was referencing the title of her Fox News show while seated next to her growing family.

A Sweet Family Affair

Before the broadcast, Kayleigh teased the reveal to her social media followers, asking them to “vote” pink or blue. Once on air, she played a short video of Blake and Nash opening their cupcakes. Each was filled with either pink or blue to represent the baby’s gender. The suspense was short-lived as Blake immediately screamed, “It’s pink!”

The little girl, dressed head-to-toe in pink herself, looked thrilled at the idea of becoming a big sister. Nash, shy and quiet in blue, stayed close to his dad throughout the segment.

As it turns out, Kayleigh had unintentionally predicted the outcome months ago.

“Over a year ago, I randomly bought a baby girl swimsuit at the Salt Lake City airport,” she admitted on air. “I guess I had a feeling.”

“A Special Time”

Kayleigh, who is due in June, first announced her pregnancy back in March — also on Outnumbered. At the time, she wore a pink blazer, which in hindsight seems like a subtle hint.

“It’s not an indicator!” she laughed during that earlier reveal. “Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about.”

Behind her flashed a giant pink banner complete with balloons and a teddy bear. Though at the time, the baby’s gender had yet to be confirmed.

During that same broadcast, she shared ultrasound photos of all three of her children, including the newest addition, and reflected on the emotional journey of her third pregnancy.

“This has been such a special time,” she said, adding that Blake in particular has been thrilled. “She runs up and holds my stomach and says, ‘Let me kiss the baby.’”

Faith Front and Center

As with many of her life milestones, Kayleigh credited her faith as a source of strength and comfort.

“We know God has written the days of this baby before she was born,” she said, referencing the biblical verse Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.”

She also pointed to Luke 12:7, noting that it’s not just a message for her unborn daughter, but for everyone watching:

“That’s how much He loves us.”

At the end of her heartfelt remarks, Kayleigh lightened the mood:

“And with all that said, can I unbutton my jacket now?”

From the Podium to the Playroom

Kayleigh McEnany’s journey has taken her from briefing the press at the White House to balancing headlines and diapers on national TV. She and Gilmartin, who married in 2017, welcomed Blake in 2019 and Nash in 2022.

The couple often keeps their family life private. But Wednesday’s reveal was a rare public peek into their world and it left fans gushing.
