To achieve a ‘surreal’ waistline at the 2024 Met Gala, billionaire star Kim Kardashian had to tighten her corset to the point of difficulty breathing, leaving deep marks and bruises on her back.

In the latest episode of the reality TV series The Kardashians , Kim admitted that she felt uncomfortable during her time wearing a corset at the biggest fashion show on the planet in May 2024.

To honor the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”, she chose a silver Maison Margiela creation by John Galliano. The dress consisted of a busty corset with a tight skirt made from mirrors, crystals and floral motifs.

The most prominent highlight of the mother of four’s appearance was the tiny waist, contrasting with her famous hips, creating a curve that was commented as “like AI drew”.

Although it brought a surprising visual effect, it caused Kim’s body to be constrained for many hours and she had to practice breathing to stay awake.

After the event, the businesswoman stood in the limousine with La La Anthony and began to panic when her friend could not help her take off the dress.

“I have claustrophobia. I have never felt so uncomfortable, I could not breathe and was about to vomit. I thought I would die if I did not remove this immediately,” the beauty expressed.

Finally, Kim returned to the hotel and successfully removed her clothes. Her hamstrings were clearly marked with “unbelievably horrifying” marks left by the corset.

Despite the pain and mental pressure, the billionaire born in 1980 affirmed that she did not regret wearing this outfit to the Met Gala: “That’s who I am. If I can look impressive, everything is worth it.”
