A husband and wife were found dead Thursday evening inside their home in the upscale Anaheim Hills neighborhood of California.
Anaheim Police made the grim discovery when they responded to reports of gunfire around 6 pm at a residence about 35 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
Inside the home were two bodies, believed to be Allison Berry Guerra and her husband, Marco ‘Tony’ Guerra.
Both victims had sustained gunshot wounds and a firearm was found at the scene. They were pronounced dead on at the scene, KTLA reported.
Though the circumstances remain unclear, early findings suggest Tony may have shot and killed Allison before turning the gun on himself, according to an obituary for Allison.
Police have not indicated any signs of outside involvement and the case remains under active investigation.
News of the couple’s deaths has sent shockwaves through their community as friends and loved ones have taken to social media to grieve and share memories.
