It is Tuesday morning, the 5th of August, and we’re going back to Nova Scotia today to talk about the case of the missing siblings—six-year-old Lily and four-year-old Jack Sullivan from Landown Station.

I haven’t talked about Jack and Lily’s case for a couple of days. Yesterday was just insane.

The wanted man, Austin Drummond—look, he’s out there trying people’s doors with a rifle. I mean, it’s just terrifying for those who live in Jackson, Tennessee. So I really hope they catch him today. I mean, where else is he going to go? But it’s who he’s going to hurt before they actually get to him. So we’ll continue to follow that today, and if there’s any new developments later, I’ll update.

All right. What we’re going to do in this video:
We’re going to talk about Daniel—Lily and Jack’s stepdad.
He’s been writing essays, I mean really long messages, to Sunny from It’s a Crime and Shame.
She’s spoken to him before. She’s taught Belinda a lot. And Daniel wants to put his side to her, I guess.
I guess he’s starting to trust her.
She’s the one that had Darren Derwood on a while ago, and Daniel is still kind of on Derwood’s side.
I think Daniel believes what Derwood has said, but I’m just suspicious. I just don’t believe any of these people. I just don’t.

Look, if Daniel is completely innocent, then I feel sorry for the guy. But I just don’t trust any of them. Any of them.

So we’re going to look at some of the messages that Sunny read on her live last night.
I’m only going to read a portion of them. So if you want the full messages, then go over to It’s a Crime and Shame, and I’ll leave a link to the video in the description box.

All right.
So hopefully my voice is going to hold up. Let’s go.

He’s written an essay explaining everything that happened on the day that Lily and Jack went missing.
This is consistent with what he said previously.

We’re going to concentrate on this message, and then we’re going to look at some of the Facebook Messenger posts that he’s made to Kent—who is a guest quite often on It’s a Crime and Shame.

So Kent has been asking him questions about what happened the day before Lily and Jack went missing.

So, May the 1st:
Lily and Jack were reported missing at 10:01.
Malaya called 911 on the morning of the 2nd of May.
So it’s gone three months now, and Lily and Jack are nowhere to be seen—no sight, no sound, nothing.

So this is Daniel saying he’s got to come forward and talk about this even more.

He says:

“The main reason I decided to push forward with this is because of the information I’ve received from investigators.”

Now, he says there are things that he can’t say that investigators have told him.

“The blanket information I’ve received tells me I need to accelerate the word. Not because I have any involvement with the blanket, but because of information received.
The case lacks clarity when it comes to long-form details.”

Oh God. Indeed it does. Indeed it does, Daniel.

“The small details it lacks—such as behind-the-scenes Amber Alert details, or details on the fashionable exit Malaya made, or miscommunication, or information on those two pink blankets.
I drove Lancestone Road the morning of the disappearance and never saw the blanket in the tree. I was on full alert. I’ve never even seen the exact location of the boot print on the pipeline. I’ve only seen pictures of it at briefings.
I have every detail surrounding it, such as the exact boots they had on were purchased and examined for true accuracy assessment.
I have all the knowledge on everything surrounding the case from others working on it. That’s another reason I didn’t display any longer-form messages or interviews.
I work to gather a more complete take of the disappearance. I’m sorry to say this too, but it’s been three hard months.
If I don’t know, no one will.
People will always target me, but I’ve also given the most to the public on the disappearance. No one can take that away.
No one remembers at the end of all my shorter interviews, I always said, ‘If you’ve got any information, please come forward to the RCMP or local police detachment.’
I’ve done that many times.
I know local news isn’t targeted towards younger audiences, but Sunny, I truly tried to make a difference.
I put so much out there and stress levels so high. And yes, there are inconsistencies. There are bound to be. I’m not a robot. I’m human.”

Yeah, all right.
There might be details that you forget first of all, and then you add them to the story. But look, what he’s said, what Malaya said—they’re just at odds with each other.
So who do you believe?

Let’s look at another of these messages. Just one more. This one’s interesting.

And if Daniel is innocent, then I feel sorry for him. I really do. But again—I just don’t trust any of them.

“I did see on the live that you’re fair. I appreciate that. I truly do.
Think about it—like, why would I wait three months to try to manipulate you?
I’ve lost everything.
All the allegations against me.
I have only visitations with Meadow and my other two kids.
My ex-wife refuses to let me see them, even though there’s a court order in place through the divorce which allows me to take them every second weekend.
The reasoning behind my ex-wife’s decision is—she wants to know what happened to Lily and Jack.”

Absolutely. I totally agree with her.
Absolutely. 100% I agree with her.

I mean, look, he could see them away from the home, with supervision.
Would you not do that?

I mean, look—I think he should be able to see his children, but in a safe way.
That’s assuming he’s innocent. But who knows?

Look, this case—this case is so confusing. Three months down the line, and I still don’t know.
I still do not know. I don’t have a number one theory.

Sometimes I think Daniel did something—that Daniel lost his rag and something happened.
Other times I think Malaya did something.
Sometimes I think, well, is what Derwood said true, in the broadest sense? Maybe not every single detail.
Other times I think maybe they did just get lost in the woods.

But it seems now that investigators don’t believe that.
They’re exploring everything.
It’s a complete turnaround—if that’s true—from what they said during the first week.
Which makes sense—because, you know, maybe new information comes to light and changes their number one theory.

“On top of that—therapy, counseling, psychology exam, and randomized drug testing.
So just ask yourself why I would ever hurt Lily and Jack or ruin young kids’ lives by hiding them.
Life has taken so many turns.
Simply trying to manipulate the world doesn’t bring Lily and Jack home or solve anything.
It doesn’t take the allegations away.
Doesn’t restore any of my former life in any way, shape, or form.
I’m not going to sit and attack anyone involved in the case either.
They’re free to attack me, and I don’t care.
But after these messages come out, I want the integrity of my character to remain intact.
Not for me, but my kids.
My kids will all see this one day.
And I want them to see Dad didn’t hide. He stood in the spotlight where no one else would.
If you want anything answered, ask before Monday.”

Why? What’s happening on Monday?

Again—if he’s innocent, then he’s doing the right thing. You know, he’s standing up to be counted.
He’s standing up, facing the allegations. He’s standing up and saying his piece.

And these kids—yeah, they’re probably going to be proud of him one day.
But right here, right now—it’s words.

I appreciate the words, but no.
I don’t know. He’s going to have to try harder than this.

And look, there’s allegations that the kids are on the reservation—or the reserve.
Are they? Anything’s possible.

All right, so these are messages that he had with Kent—one of Sunny’s regular guests.

So Kent’s in the blue. Daniel’s in the gray. This looks like Facebook Messenger.

Kent: “Another follow-up question. You said that the kids that night were sleeping—went to bed in their clothes. Was that a normal practice?”
Daniel: “Sometimes they would. All depends on how tired they were. Malaya put them to bed. I was out helping Mom with the fence.”

They were, I don’t know, sorting out a fence or something.

I think he said he went to bed at 12:00 and he looked in on them, and they were asleep.

You see, there’s things like this that piss me off about Daniel.

“By the way, we were not seen at the Highland Square Mall. I said around the Highland Square Mall—a store close.”

Okay. Right. There’s argumentative, and then there’s argumentative, isn’t there?

All right, guys. I’m going to save my voice.
Just in case I need to update later on Austin Drummond.
There’s a bunch of Bryan Kohberger stuff that’s come out as well that I want to talk about, but I don’t think my voice is going to hold up.
I thought it was allergies. It was allergies at first. But now I’m left with this kind of bad chest—coughing all the time.
The amount of edits I’ve had to do to this video is unreal because I’m just coughing all the time.

But there’s a bunch of stuff I want to talk about.
There’s the Delly stuff also that I need to get through. It’s all go, I tell you.

All right, guys.
