Still Missing: Lily and Jack Sullivan — Search Halted as Questions Surround Mother’s Behavior

[May 22, 2025] – Lily and Jack Sullivan remain missing after extensive search efforts in dense woodland areas yielded no results. Authorities have announced they are suspending broad search operations and will now focus on more specific locations.

This past weekend, another round of searching was conducted, but once again, no trace of the children was found.

Jack and Lily’s stepfather, Daniel, has been vocal throughout the ordeal. He has consistently spoken to the media, thanked searchers, and emphasized that bringing the children home is the top priority. His openness stands in stark contrast to Malaya, the children’s biological mother, who has remained silent since her first interview.

Following her initial appearance, Malaya moved out, blocked Daniel on social media, and has since sporadically reappeared on Facebook to make changes to her profile. These include changing her relationship status to “single,” adding new friends, and removing all photos of Daniel — behavior that has raised eyebrows as many question why she is focusing on seemingly trivial matters while her children are still missing.

However, Malaya has recently reopened her Facebook profile, revealing a timeline filled with photos of Lily and Jack. The children appear happy, well-groomed, and well cared for in these pictures. Notably, most of the photos date back to 2023 or earlier.

After the birth of her daughter Meadow — Malaya’s child with Daniel — she posted a photo of all three children together. That was the last post visible for nearly a year. It’s unclear whether she deleted content during that period, but the next time she posted was during the 2024 holiday season, when she shared a family photo as her cover image. Her next post came when Lily and Jack were reported missing.

On May 3rd, Malaya wrote:

“I want an Amber Alert for my children. I want my babies home. My children are not shy with strangers and will go with anyone — they don’t understand stranger danger.”

She then changed her profile picture to one of Lily and Jack.

From the photos and captions on her profile, Malaya appears to be a loving mother who adores her children. Still, her recent actions — blocking Daniel, going silent, and deleting photos — have left many wondering: Why the sudden withdrawal? Why does her family blame Daniel? The situation remains full of questions and short on answers.

As of now, there is still no sign of Lily and Jack Sullivan, and the hope for their safe return remains strong.
